Great interview, Luke. Thanks for introducing me to Kade and the Jiu-Jitsu side of combat sports.

This was so well done on both sides: a professional journalist asking the right questions to have the right conversation and a highly accomplished young man extremely wise beyond his years. Massive fan of you both and can’t wait to see Kade compete at ONE.

Commenting for the algorithm- gonna watch this later! He killed it this year - side note, would love for Luke to interview more BJJ guys. Maybe even a dissected on ADCC if Luke is feeling generous 💯

The Ruotolo Brothers always bring it no matter what the rule set! It was so exciting watching Kade win the East Coast Trials last November to earn his spot to compete in Vegas and then witness him submitting everyone that stood across from him! Unbelievable! Much respect! 👊👏

Also....being that the buggy choke requires side control...it may be a while before we see one in MMA. Side control just isn't something used much at all these days...people usually just transition immediately to mount if they do find themselves in side control.

Great question by Luke on how to make Jiu Jitsu popular. I think to Kade's point promotions need to only sign aggressive, exciting grapplers, and financially incentivise exciting matches and finishes. Continuing to fine tune the rule set to discourage safe, boring strategies would be a good idea. You may have to break out the yellow card and fine competitors for stalling, etc..

Good interview Luke. Of course we don’t care as spectators if people are juiced. We don’t have any skin in the game. The people you always leave out of the argument are the people that don’t want to have to use every drug under the sun to compete in their chosen sport

When fighter's talk about money, I really find it annoying. I agree they should get paid and have 100% coverage on medical and dental. It's just so unprofessional and gives me a toxic vibe. Tell us about you and maybe people will relate to your life and become a fan.

Go lick your daddy’s boot. Nobody cares what you find annoying. Why are you trying to relate to someone that works 10x harder than you’ll ever dream of? “It annoys me that these gladiators want to be compensated more for the entertainment they give”. STFU
