Really is a shame that the Kadeshi were a sort of one-hit-wonder in the series. Would have been great to see the Exiles try to return and make amends for the disaster caused by their interaction with one another during the war for Hiigara. Maybe we'd be able to see some Kadesh ships serve as part of the Kushan fleet in future iterations of the games.

Sadly I think the Kadeshi were driven to extinction. Their motherships were all blown up or captured.

Well, the Kuun-Lan at least honored their Kadeshi Brothers a bit. They have the Multi-Beam Frigates. Also their ACV looks a lot like their Corvettes.

@@Nightseekerxd Could be more indicative of the scavenging-by-necessity that precipitated lower clan/kith life than actually honoring the memory of fallen kin. After all, a significant portion of Somtaaw tech was derived from purchased Bentusi surplus since they couldn't requisition ships from the Mothership. Their multi-beam frigates could easily have been drawn up due to researching tech left over from the war.

They failed to make their Motherships able to build larger Classes of Ships.... That doomed them sadly. It would be great if there was a Mod to have a Surviving Kadeshi Mothership, they could tweak the front of the Mothership to open up like the Kushan does at the side panel to take in Cryo Trays and Captured Big Ships.

They didn't really need bigger ships. Any one of those MBFs is pretty much the same anti-capital firepower as a HC. The problem was that they were easy to kill. But that is very effectively and readily mitigated by the use of Cloak Generators. So all the Kadeshi needed was that Cloak Generator tech...as they easily had the scale of production to handle them. . Honestly, aside from captured vessels and those required to be built for mission objectives, I never built super-capitals. A small strike group of frigates and cloak generators is far...FAR...more effective and more versatile, and cheaper.

Wait a second, this can’t be right. Look in 1:11 the difference between the Advanced Swarmer and the Multi-beam; that’s NOT their proportion in-game.

Swarmers are that tiny, but ingame NLIPS distort the perception of dimensions making smaller ships appear bigger that they actually are :)

In this case, I also still can't get over the fact that those 'Multi-Beam Frigates' were capable of spewing ion beams with only gravity/magnetism (I can't find any nozzles for it to be fired from)...

@@michaelandreipalon359 They are terribly afraid to be discovered, so they kill or absorb all witnesses who may reveal their location. It's kind of a spoiler to Dark Forest by Liu Cixin, he only used it differently against the antagonists.

yes, they are, especially the swarmers
