I really liked how you showcased the many possible ways that work best. You mentioned that it was difficult to clean up the excess in the stamper with the images that were too close. I have found that instead of using the roller I use my scraping card as it will pick it up too and I save myself the lint roller quite a bit..perhaps that would help you too..? Yes the bufferfly legs and eyes where so close together. Ive tried many different ways to remove the excess like scrapers, tape, finger nail ive just never got on with them many people have said in the past about trying other ways. I even recently brought the books of lint sheets from CJS and i dont get one with them either for me the lint roller has always worked well for me thanks for commenting about it tho. Yes my videos will always have as much detail as i can possible add to them. Thank you very much for watching. Xx

Thanks for the review of these two plates. Lovely swatches and manis. We tend to agree about the 2 versus 4 layers and it's a bit of a shame that the floral ones don't have an outline as one of their layers.

Great tips! I agree on the too many layers!! I love the blue butterflies!! Reminds me of a China pattern too!! I still don't like the hibiscus as they layed it out... the stamen are a different color.. than the main flower.. it doesn't match up well but still so pretty!!!

I have both of these. I haven't swatched the butterfly plate yet but I agree about the flower plate. I decidedly found that all 4 layers is a bit excessive.

It's way to much some commented that there missing the outline image I think it would look better if that was on the plate. I think kads need to look at there plates again. Thank you for watching. Xx

When I had kads plates which layered I found them confusing. My top tips are stamp down the outer layer first in a pale white or light grey and fill in the sections. Most layering plates work with layering from left to right or right to left, I do remember that some of the layering ones on kads went up and down as well. I've looked on aliexpress to see if I could see a gen stone plate but if you have the full plate name and number I could try to find it to help more. Xx

I have been looking farward to this review! Those butterfly images are gorgeous. But you are right. I think it’s the 2 image that I wouldn’t use. It seems like it’s just 3 and 4 put together. But I love the 3 layers way more than just the two. The flower plate on the other hand looks kind of messy to me. Like an oil painting or something, I would like it a bit more crisp. I need to try to get my hand on a cjs polish, because my ur sugar stamping polish does not work at all with the tiny detailed layers on my cjs plate, it just dries way to fast. Thank you. I definitely prefer the 2 or 3 I don't like messy looking nailart but agree with the oil painting comment totally. I purchase my cjs polish from nail.supplies in the uk but cjs do have a lot of stockists around the world check out there website theres a huge list. I've not tried the ur sugar stamping polishes, but I find the born pretty ones dry way to quick as well which is why I love the cjs polishes. I just wished they where all in the bigger 10ml bottles not the 5mls. Thank you for watching. Xx

Glitter Shine Nails they are awesome! They just dry quickly. But I got some moyra and color alike stamping polishes to and they also do not make life easy when it comes to the tiny details. I almost bought from the Danish cjs seller, but ended up with another website and she only had the stamping plates

Colouralike can be a nightmare to work with I have about 40 off them but don't use them anymore there great for colouring in decals tho. I've only tried a couple of the moyra ones if you can find one that sells the cjs polish they will change stamping for you when it comes to layering and tiny Images. I've got a list of other ones i want to add to my collection. X

Glitter Shine Nails i only have a couple color alike, and Man they are pigmented. The pink stamped completely opaque on top of black. I haven’t had any problems with them on any other plates than the clear jelly stamper. But we’ll, now I know what I need to buy when it’s payday

About removing excess with little space between images: for those I use duct tape instead of the lint roller.

I've seen people use tape and scrapers to remove them before I personally have never got on with them. If I'm wearing a mani because I wear peel off base coat it quite off takes the mani with it. But I'll try to remember to comment about the tape it's just as I don't use it I forget about it. Xx

I use the tape to remove the excess on the stamper, it is more precise than the lint roller. I can see how removing the excess from the skin with tape can be a problem with peel off base coat. sadly i can't use peel off base coat, my natural nails are too even and I lose the many washing my hair and other normal activities...

I use the peel off over my polygel overlays but I've heard that before tho. I have seen some one using these mini rollers but so far can't find them, I want to see if that will help me. X

I think you should try going lightest color to darkest color because your layering looks like a negative image.

I'm sorry I don't agree, with layering you can very easily go from darkest to lightest as well as lightest to darkest they both work great and I do both as well. I've never had any one say before my layering looks like negative image and personally I can see that. Thanks

@@GlitterShineNails in my opinion its just plain theft, CJS go to a lot of trouble designing their layered plates, and then you get these other brands stealing designs I feel this is so not right its not taking inspiration it is really cheating. I for one will never support these other bands Ill rather stick to the original CJS layered stamping plates and products they are pristine quality.

@@GlitterShineNails Thanks for sharing though, I am good friends with Debbie from CJS and I know the time effort and work that goes into manufacturing and for another brand just to go and steal designs is disgusting. I mean lets be honest here none of these other brands would even know about layered stamping if it where not for CJS. I have tried 100's of other stamping products and most of the time it is a hit and run product, the only Stamping brand that has worked for me every time is CJS, there stamping polishes are the best. I love CJS products there great use there polishes mainly I have many CJS plates and polishes. However because it's not been copyrighted or patterned other brands will choose this option as I fully know that not everyone has the budget to purchase CJS products or want to be brand loyal. People will choose a cheaper option I know there is a difference between them, but this is just the way people purchase. I love Debbie I think she's great and will always support her and her brand but people do like KADS stamping plates as well. I like to give my subscribers a good mix of brands as that's just how I am. Thank you for stopping by I wish you a good day.
