y'know the thing I really like about this animation is that it shows a different side of kazuha that we usually don't see and what it means for our view on him and what he can teach us. We usually just see him as this chill maple guy, always calm and composed, wise, at peace, in tune with nature, he's this almost buddha like character who is kind hearted but detached. But in the animation, we see him in distress, we see him breaking down, losing all hope, not being at peace and just generally being emotional. That's new. He's all about moving on and letting go, he knows he has to let go but we see him not being able to let go and this shows that letting go takes time, it's hard, harder than he made it seem like most of the time and seeing him struggling with this makes him seem more humane, suddenly he isn't this distant, role-model figure that guides you with his words, he's just another human, like us. And that makes us relate to him more because now we actually see that he's not so wise because he's just that kind of person, we see that he's like us, human, and that he worked hard to achieve this wisom and that's inspiring because as fellow humans that would mean that we can get to that point as well

I remember watching this in fall of 2021 and now I got recommended this again. Still as beautiful and heartbreaking as I remember. I’m glad Kazuha is in a MUCH better place now. ❤

It mentally and spiritually bothers me how people are so quick to defend Raiden actions because she wasn't able to overcome her grief. It's UNDERSTANDABLE but NOT JUSTIFIABLE however people keep saying it is. It's not even because I like Kazuha, Wanderer or Inazuma people. Still her actions brought death, fear and depression to a whole nation. Yes "Tomo" asked for it to a certain extent, as he purposely did something to get the divine punishment, still there are other things which aren't fault of Wanderer or Inazuma people but just her not being able to overcome her grief, which does not excuse her killing innocent people or trapping them in Inazuma without a consequence. Knowing her behaviour and how petty her reasons are about divine punishment "Tomo" probably didn't do anything as horrible as she claims to be honest. Either way it's tiring to see how people defend Raiden, she have no character development becoming a basic waifu with no personality and without facing consequences for her actions (you know, the major focus point needed to prove the character actually learned something and is getting back what they deserve, such as Inazuma people hating or fearing her and Ei trying to actually commit to make them comfortable around her but people immediately bow and respect Ei when they see her instead of fearing/hating her) and it just bother me how they say that people just can't understand how good and misunderstood she is. No, she is not. Her story is badly written and she doesn't face consequences or character development, that's not good in any universe.

Fully agreed. People tend to not realize or accept the truth. Even if the duel was by "law," doesn't mean that it's morally correct to just execute the opponent (we literally see her as Ei in this case who didn't execute Kamaji Kujo and that was waaay after she got beaten by 100 Vision Empowered Traveler). Heck, Tomo is the one who challenge her and knew what would happen, doesn't mean he deserves it in hindsight. He gave Kazuha the courage to fight against something that was deemed impossible. The character will always be a waifu magnet for simps and incels alike. Makoto was a way better ruler who didn't run away from responsibilities and actually had compassion despite being physically weaker in combat than her sister. It's no wonder why the Inazuman Archon Quest fell out and other related Inazuma story quests were mid. Glad that the Electro Archon's story is basically over becuz there is no point in her character as she already finished her arc in the 2 Story Quest.
