Whereas "Appear shite kudasai" would be "Please show yourself" or "Please make an appearance". Which makes more sense in this context since the game is about getting the ghost to show up, not asking what it wants. And the pronunciation seems like it would be the same, as with english (since its a loan word), with the only difference being the 'L' and 'R' at the end. But I could be wrong, I'm a native English speaker, but I don't know enough Japanese to be certain I'm correct. I can only translate based on context, and in this context "Appear" makes more sense than "Appeal". If so, thank you for teaching me something new.

@@zditto Yeah, it doesn't really make sense at first glance, but it is indeed appeal, and not appear. I even double checked it for you. You can kind of think of it as a request for the ghost to do something (non-violent). "Please appeal to us."
