I'd like to get an actual measurement for the spacing on the hopper bars. Seems to me there's lots of designs possible but they all depend on the pellets feeding properly. If pellets are consistent then there must be a solid spacing value. I'm just doing dry runs with a few 1/4 rods. I started with 3/8 inch spacing but the pellets just fell through. 1/4 inch seems to be closer to what I would think should work. I'll be using 3/16 stainless in the end but I'm loathe to start cutting and welding them before I sort out the spacing.
