She does have diabetes, she’s shared medical reports and has tested her blood sugar and injected insulin on livestreams. Whether she can fast or not given the symptoms she has I don’t know. The most frustrating part for me as a viewer is she’s aware of all these issues but she doesn’t make any attempt to improve her health, when it’s all in her control. Even the easiest things like taking her medications regularly. It’s hard to feel sympathy when she tells us about a health problem and then in the next video she’s stuffing her face with Burger King.

Question, Chantal thinks it's "fasting for Ramadan" if she sleeps all day & only gets up at night... She counts the sleeping time as "fasting time" Is that even a thing?? Also Chantal will purposefully eat the non halal food on purpose, and will eat stuff with pork bc she doesn't care.. Her favorite things to say is "I didn't know!" until she gets busted & then it's "you can't judge me!" She does not care about being Muslim, she literally only cares about the hijab bc it covers her areas she thinks ppl can't see busting out.. if anything it only accentuates what she's trying to hide bc she has never went to another Muslim woman to wrap a hijab.. She just puts on a scuba cap & tucks fabric in.. after 2 years....... Also I really appreciate that you said that about Chikfila.. that you understand when something isn't on purpose & when something is actually purposefully done to harm someone.. Chantal literally screams "Islamaphobia!!" every chance she gets, especially when it's something against HER & nothing to do with Islam at all... Kind of like when she screams that a man is harming her when he's only rejected her.. Kinda like when she uses words like "violated" when she got her feelings hurt. But she knows how pol take certain words, & she knows ppl automatically believe women.. Especially religious women, which she is so not...

Interested to hear your thoughts on the public display of affection. It seems that Salah has Chantel believing that he can only pat her on her head or pinch her cheek. He tells her they're not allowed to hold hands nor give a kiss on the cheek or a hug. It's pretty clear that that is probably not true as when we've seen them in the airport we've seen other Muslim couples in the background walking holding hands sitting on a bench with an arm around each other. Foodie is Definitely Diabetic and ignored for years so only recently became so severe she has to take Insulin. However, Foodie was NOT on Insulin last year during Ramadan. Foodie was only on oral medications which do not lower blood sugar levels in same way that Insulin does. It was sometime afterward she was put on Insulin. Fasting and diabetes, depends on whether you are taking insulin. A diabetic only on oral medications and NOT on insulin will tolerate fasting, but INSULIN can Lower Blood sugar to Dangerous levels when not eating. We have seen her glucose and hospital labs. she is horrible! She has refused to follow diet, so glucose was so out of control she was finally given insulin. A long acting insulin taken once a day at bedtime. Plus, she still takes oral diabetic medication also. Plus kidneys are compromised from diabetes and some heart disease and liver disease. very serious medical conditions. she had blood clots in her lungs a few years ago before I started watching. Apparently she had cysts in her uterus? or ovaries and she ignored medical advice so it advanced so much she ended up with a total hysterectomy (removal of uterus and ovaries!). and there is probably more. I have only been watching since just before she moved to kuwait, but I have watched retro replays and documentaries also covering some of this time. I hate to defend Foodie because she does eat non halal food but she showed us the package of chicken hotdogs in Thailand from 7-11 and it clearly stated Halal. Well, there are so many Non Kuwaiti's in Kuwait, because only Kuwaiti's can be citizens, and there is a huge population mostly workers that come from various countries, so there are many western restaurants and stores.

So, you’re right to be skeptical since she is a compulsive liar. But in this instance. Yes she really is a type 2 insulin dependant diabetic, who has shown her insulin and shown herself taking insulin onscreen. Now. Do I think she would fast if she were not diabetic? Absolutely NOT! She would find an excuse. The woman can’t let an hour pass without snacking. But she really is insulin dependant diabetic. For diabetics who say dating helps, that’s true if you’re not insulin dependant. If you do inject insulin you could theoretically still fast depending on how much insulin you take , if it’s short acting v long acting, how long you’re fasting etc. It’s more complicated, as you could have a hypo episode.

So I'm a Muslim and I work in the medical field as a clinical dietitian. Chantal does have type 2 diabetes, I've seen her results. She was prediabetic for many years even before Kuwait and she had some major health scares because of her extremely high blood sugars just in the spring. She was put on insulin and it has had a clear effect on her ability to do things once she learned to use it as prescribed, just based on what we can see. As for fasting, I have patients who fast but I also have patients who don't fast. It's really dependent on the individual and their particular health concerns and should be discussed with the doctor. Most T2D patients can fast especially the kind of fasting that is done during Ramadan, because it's a partial fast. But the patient should have their blood sugars under control first. Sometimes I've made special Ramadan diets for some folks that prevent any blood sugar fluctuations during the day, but it's really variable what people with diabetes can do and depends on how they feel it affects their functionality. We can't have people passing out or being unable to do normal things, because that's often a sign of problems in people whose health isn't quite normal. There's no reason why Chantal couldn't pray, though. She doesn't have to perform the full physical movements if she's unable, she could just sit down if she has to. People pray laying down on hospital beds too. It's the intent that matters above all, that you make an attempt to do it the way you can, if unable to do it the proper way.

@ I seem to know more than you. Type 1 are insulin dependent meaning they have to inject insulin several times a day as they do not produce enough insulin naturally. Type 2 diabetes is not insulin independent and is controlled through other diabetic medications that are in tablet form. That’s not to say that some type 2 diabetics don’t inject insulin, some do but most don’t. My dad has been type 2 for 25 years and has never had to inject insulin but he does take other meds to control his insulin levels. This woman right here. I respect and admire how you come on KZbin and try to inform people who are not Muslim about the things in your culture and beliefs. When you explain to Chantal you don’t raise your voice. You don’t call her names. I wonder why Chantelle hasn’t reached out to you directly yet and if she does or her followers do, I’m sure you’re just being ignorant and rude and calling you a hater when you’re not. You are the epitome of what a revert should be. ❤

@ yeah that timing was impeccable, wasn’t it? lol. And she herself has confirmed that she has the uncontrolled diabetes. She’s getting insulin and warfarin as well which I don’t understand. OK her face she’s retaining so much fluid. I mean I’m surprised that she has not had a stroke yet. This is not me being snarky. I’m a medic of 18 years and yeah, I tried reaching out to her directly. She called me a hater. I’m not I’m just trying to help you and possibly prevent you from dying in the next year. However, anyone that does it she immediately has to attack. It is what it is, but thank you so much for coming out here and frying people. I love your content.

She is definitely a diabetic. She has tested her blood sugar online. Once it read close to 400mg/dL. Thing is she relies on her insulin and other diabetic meds to keep her sugar closer to 200mg/dL and justifies that to eat whatever she wants. She hasn’t done anything to help her diabetes. She relies on the meds even though 200mg/dL is still considered out of control for a diabetic. IMO of course 😊

I don t get the christmas/halloween part. Tree and presents are a Tradition not a Religion, why would it be haram to follow traditions of the country you live in. Isn t a guest supposed to follow the hosts rules in his house. Same with halloween, nobody is praying to the pumkin so whats the problem.
@sabrin940921 сағат бұрын
Muslims need to follow rules in the country they live in, but the moment it goes against islam then they do not have to follow it. So holidays are also against islam because they do not believe Jesus (Isa) is born on 25th of December and Halloween is originated from the pagans (and I mean come on, devils, witches, vampires,... it is obvious it shouldn't be celebrated). Islam already gives the muslims their holidays so they have something to look out too 😊

I have always been curious to know if when one reverts, is there not a class or a group that helps the person? Even churches you want to join you have to go through membership classes and what Chantal showed was her taking an “oath” (I know that is t the correct term, I just don’t recall) and she doesn’t ever talk of learning with people. Your videos are very interesting and I appreciate learning from you. Edit to add this: as her husband, is it Salah’s responsibility to help teach her. He sits by as she acts inappropriately.

@@2_broken_2_b_here The hadith of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) advises that we should fill one-third of our stomach with food, one-third with liquid, and leave the remaining one-third for air.
@AbedahOriginal14 сағат бұрын
@@2_broken_2_b_here - Eat in moderation, eat to stay alive and not live to eat. Some people sit down to eat and keep eating until they can't any more. The healthy way is eat a bit, drink plenty of water and do not overfill your stomach. You know people who eat so much that they can't move then go to sleep, or unbuckle their pants. People who drink too much beverage like soda and they burb or feel stuffed.

12:22 - I’m curious if this prohibition applies to kosher meat. Hi, I’m a Jewish conversion student. 👋🏽 It has been my understanding that kosher meat can be eaten by Muslims if halal meat cannot be obtained. My sister is Muslim, she’s quite knowledgeable and trustworthy. I don’t say that to imply that her understanding is the only way, or even the correct way, just to illustrate where I got this information. Are you supposed to drive to the mosque 5x a day or can you do it from home? Also she digs into messy foods with her hands, no utensils, and says it's normal over there. Is that true? You said meat in restaurants in the US and Canada isn't halal. You can't eat any meat outside of rare Muslim restaurants? She's said it's ok to eat food that's not halal if halal food isn't accessible? She is diabetic, has shown her records and the long lasting insulin she uses at night. Whether a diabetic needs insulin depends on how much their own body makes. She's type 2 like me and it can usually be controlled with diet/exercise and oral medication. She won't stop eating like a pig and all carbs turn to sugar in the body, so she always has high blood sugar. If a diabetic is on medication (other than metformin) they can have dangerous low blood sugar if they fast. I'm type 2 diabetic and will answer questions if you have any.

I'm a bit confused, does the middle east have separate laws for christian/non-muslim woman verses muslim women? Also I feel like she could fast if she wanted to, as a type 2 myself if I wanted to fast I would just eat enough of a snack to take my medicine then that would be it, only eat something if my sugar drops and just don't fast too much for too long. She could give it a try if she wanted, a try is all that's asked.
