The Alaafin Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111 was full of knowledge of Yoruba history and wisdom of presentation! He was the epitome of Yoruba diplomacy in public speaking that some may think it was weakness but strength!!! I cherished my cousin via our progenies!!!RIP!!!

As an igbo man, with little understanding of yoruba. After listening to this, I took time to watch other interview by the Late Oba, God bless his soul. His death is a great lost to the entire nation. His weath of knowledge is overwhelming.

My sincere condolence to the Yoruba kingdoms and the yorubas in diaspora, indeed it is a great lost to all of us, may the soul of Alaafin if OYO rest in perfect peace, these are people that helps in nourishing their culture of Yoruba, those that our culture was held with precious esteem to them, we pray to find a better replacement

I’m sure a movie if not series is coming out soon to immortalize the great king. Especially to give the importance and the aspect of music in the palace of Alafin.

@KAPTV I hope we can have a masterpiece that chronicles the life of Great kings in Yoruba Kingdom, First for educational purpose, Second, so that the historical richness of our source as yorubas is not lost. Third so that we can understand more of our origin and where we are from. Thanks for the beautiful piece ANIKULAPO....
