Rin didn't die though. First of all, according to what I understand, Len just broke up with his girl. Second, at like 2:44 you see the girl he was dating wasn't Rin at all, it was another vocaloid I'm pretty sure whose name is Akito Rai(Maybe, don't remember the exact details.) The only one who did die I'm pretty sure was actually Len, who took his own life in the end, or at least that's what I got from it.
