When I started Shotokan at 14yo, I would cycle maybe 6 miles into the city library to look at old books with grainy pictures to try to learn/understand more. Now I drink my morning coffee on my couch with my 3yo beside me, and watch the greatest living karate master (?) share his art.... even after all this years of KZbin, this still marvels me... thanks for sharing this 🙏🙏👏👏

Ha, ha, you are right. I remember those days. And thank goodness for these days. I ask myself 'if it's this good now, thanks to KZbin, what's it going to be like down the track'?

the foam/rubber tatami (puzzle mats) has caused stomping. Everyone learned decades ago that a jump landing should be "cat like" the solid floors would hurt your feet if you "stomped" the ground.
