The reason it shows 90%+ loot but you can't find anymore, is because loot includes the sulfur, scallops, algea.....etc. I noticed you don't take the scallops or the sulfur. And there might also be some iron or copper in the area that may be included it the "amount" percentage.

The smoke stacks as you so quaintly put it, are actually called cooling towers. It is where the hot water is cooled before being converted back into steam once again, during the process of generating nuclear power. And your leaving all the ore, scallops, red algae behind maybe that why you not completing areas.

Others have already answered why the loot % is still so high (ores, algae and whatnot), the smokestacks (cooling towers for the steam turbines), and drown vs. drowned (present tense vs. past tense). But I'm glade to see you finally selling charcoal to the trader for stuff. People have been suggesting that since like the 5th video.

I typically make a single platform with a bed and 1 box for storage on larger islands. The reason for the bed and single box... is so you can clear the island of enemies ... sleep till the next day... loot the entire island and prioritize what I bring back in the first trip... but I don't have to go home before I loot the entire island. If you only use wood boxes and platforms... if it does get attacked it doesn't hurt to lose it.

You also may not ever get 100% loot because your leaving stuff in some of the loot to get it to respawn so it counts as not fully looted.

Hi Kage, but if you loot everything and put in barrels, you gonna need 2 trips ou 3, but all the loot is in the barrels, you dont need waste time looking in places you already looked, because u forgets where you take the look. Is more efficient

I guess that people might set up barrels to fill, mostly so they don´t have to loot, go home and dump things, then go back and start looting again. This way they can finish all the looting and just do the trips back and forth home? maybe? One thing I have heard about the completion rate at different sites: some people seem to say that picking up ores and algea, scallops and those things within the target area also adds to the completion rate. If it´s true I have no idea. (still havnt gotten the game and just have alot of friends talking about it)

Drown and drowned are two different tenses of the same word. i.e. You will drown if you run out of air and Kage drowned cuz he didn't watch his air supply, LOL

There is a safe down inside one of the cooling towers. It's one that has a deeper hole in the bottom. I believe the first one you went in but didn't look all the way around.

It might be good for you to do the barrels because the way you loot. So you remember what you have looted. If you go to base you might loot one you’ve done before and lose it

lol, Kage, the air in the air tank does not make you boyant irl. It's darn heavy. The human body is sligthly boyant and a wetsuit would increase that

I got my end loot armor from the hunters union, but it cost me a power boat. They raided me while I was looting and destroyed it. All the loot in the boat turned into a bag luckily. I'll have my revenge.

craft the warm jacket and you wont need fire to stay out all night...... you can also still dive provided you have enough light

You don't need to fill the biofuel container up to 30 wood. If you put in 1 chemical substance, you need 3 wood to make it one gas. 30 wood for 10 chemicals.

Can you make more crates and put barrels in them to take with you on looting runs? You could pull the barrels out, fill them up, put them back in the crates and bring more stuff home.

well the ore and scalps and red algie also count as loot so maybe that´s why it didn´t go all up

Ore, Scallops, and Algie all respawn and do not count towards the percentage.

​@murph1414 I tested it. After I took all the already, scallops, etc.... it showed 100%. So even if it does respawn, it seems to be counted for clearing the island at that time. It was on the small rock island so I also took all trees etc to get 100%. But until I did all that, it wouldn't give me 100%.

Yes, better armor comes with the harder POIs. You'll find them soon. I've found loot by mistake in the ground that can't be seen. So don't feel bad if you can't get 100%. I'm sure it's something that will be fixed in the future.

When you go to pick it up it says do you want to pick this up all contents will be deleted. Or something like that so it will be empty when you put it down
