I did the exact thing with the flounder, got hooked on catching specs all day and got used to 15”, so when I caught a 15” flounder on the nose, I threw him back forgetting the minimum is 14 hahaha talk about me regretting throwing it back!

Hey bud, I’m in the market for a smaller boat similar to what you are using in this video. What’s the setup if you don’t mind me asking? Is it pretty rough when going to the jetties? Trying to find something for my son and I or a buddy and I to go fishing in.
@KagenFishing3 жыл бұрын
It has to be a very calm day to go to jetty’s. But if it’s calm is a great boat to fish out there in. The boat only has a little bit of a V in the front then goes to flat bottom.

Im looking for a saltwater baitcaster for my dad is that daiwa costal any good for the price?
@KagenFishing3 жыл бұрын
It is a great reel. It is a little on the bigger side compared to my shimano SLX bait caster. That’s why you see me primary throw it with top water and crank baits then Switch to my slx for tossing 1/8th oz jig heads
@jwar45803 жыл бұрын
@@KagenFishing Makes sense I have noticed it is a bigger reel. Thanks for the info I'm definitely going to get a smaller reel since my dad mostly throws 1/8th jig heads with paddle tails. Thanks again and glad to see your getting out on the water.
