That island is actually owned by Sector Houston Galveston of the United States Coast Guard. A couple of Coasties back in the day went there and built that palm tree gazebo for anyone that would get caught in a rainstorm would be able to beach the boat and wait out the rain for safety. Many of times coasties go out there for a good morale party or fishing trip. :) glad to see you guys are using it. -Your friendly neighbor hood Coastie

The reason you keep loosing the trout is because when they bite you set the hook but for trout and trout only they have sensitive mouths so it rips them when you jerk it
