Every time I look at the table, I’m reminded of the adverse impact of giving Sunderland an extra point and losing ourselves 2 points in those final seconds of that disappointing Friday night football. Swansea and Blackburn games will quickly tell us if we’re able to get in the top two promotion slots.

We should definitely be at least 5/6 pts better off. Our away form needs to improve, and we need to be more clinical in front of goal. Midfield wise , agreed , the loss of Ampadu and Gruev wasn't ideal. However, Rothwell and Tanaka are doing well enough. But still, the lack of goals from midfield needs to be addressed. And tbh, imo, it's shocking that it hasn't been. I do think we'll improve up front when Ramazani returns, so the sooner, the better. Finally, although we don't have a divine right to secure automatic promotion. Given the quality of the team we have, and ( with respect) the quality of this years league. It'll be nothing but complete failure if we don't. Keep the ball away from Meslier until the January window opens. Then either sell and replace him, or keep him as the Number 2. Add another couple of quality loan players, and let's just get out of this league. I'd rather have to watch repeats of Cross Road's than suffer watching us playing in this league again. We seem scared to shoot esp from centre mid we’re very shot shy team I think if he starts Guilavoufi in a double pivot we might see some goals from corners , I think he wants a no 10 in January and possibly a left back n goalie seems strange both Steinson and now Hammond going too is Farke gonna be picking new players now alone

We have an excellent squad for this league. Football is quite simple if you put the correct players in the correct positions. Play to your strengths and don’t allow the opposition to dictate the pace! Regarding stats ! They can be interpreted in several ways but I didn’t hear anyone yesterday at the game claiming we played well! Alaw

Good point about opposition dictating the pace. That was something I forgot to mention re away games, we are the dominant team so teams should be worried about our gameplan and threats we have 💯

Highest wages in the league, best players in the league, highest value squad in the league. These are facts. Too many dropped points and don’t forget the draw at WBA or the battering we took from Boro in the cup. 49ers should never have kept FARKE after he screwed up last season. 49ers must be bricking it because failing to go up this season means a fire sale. FarkeBall will never break down an organised low block. Yes we will scrape through like yesterday but will drop too many points over the season. Use the full deck. The one glaring aspect missing is proactive use of the squad, not just reactionary (late) responses. Variations of players, profiles, formations and approach can be used against different teams and in different scenarios if not to strategize an advantage, then do it to minimize our predictability. For instance, aside from the obvious play Schmidt LB and keep Byram at RB, why not start Guillavogui against teams who live off the set pieces every time. Also, the panic “throw everything in” subs need to stop.

The Meslier mistake ( as shocking as it was) is just one of several reasons as to why we are currently sitting 3rd in the league. I've aired my views regarding Meslier many a time.However, the Aaronson miss in the final minute against Portsmouth. The Joseph miss when through one on one against Burnley . The Gnonto miss against Bristol. And it's not just missing goals , it's also the stupid mistakes like Rodon's hacking down of a player in the box , against Norwich. The list is endless, and the lost pts have gone. I do strongly believe we'll secure automatic this season. The only thing that will prevent us doing so is ourselves. Carry on shooting ourselves in the foot, and imo, it'll be playoffs again, and we all know how good we are in them 🤣 MOT

I think we could play Tanake and Guilavougi as a double pivot , and push joe Rothwell up as a slash 8/10 and get Tanaker going up higher too making runs into the box and drop Aronsen to the bench if we’re losing bring him on for Guilavogi . If we continue as we are it’s rinse and repeat we might get second but it’s too risky 20 shots every week and 1 or 2 goals we miss too many and no goals from centre mid , James Rothwell Willy n Joseph , play Piroe as a late sub

No chance Farke ever does anything like that. He will run Aaronson into the ground unless he is injured and then he will drop Piroe into the 10 despite him never working there for 18 months now

Thank you KAGEY 👍👌 Its becoming very apparent that we seem to always have problems with teams that play with a low block against us & we have no way to break them down, however we've had our chances against them that we haven't put away...😩😫 We need to create a higher law of averages with our set pieces too, how many times have we seen rubbish deliveries in low block games, we just don't give ourselves more of a chance when it comes to set pieces 😫😩😡😤 We're a good enough team that is playing badly inconsistently 😢😥🤦

I feel we spend wayyy too much time bedding in new players. The first few months of every season seem to be a slog where players are bedding in and building cohesion… Problem is… the points at the start of the season are worth the exact same as the second half of the season. Can’t afford silly draws and losses to teams we should be spanking.

Not mad just not confident in the manager, come on we should have beaten Millwall. Throwing on all attacking players is no plan B. He should have learnt from last season's mistakes and imo he has not. Not all the blame is on Farke it's on the players as well, for missing scoring opportunities and there have been plenty of them. Also in pre season he changed formation to 343 and they did well, that's a plan B.
