I'll never forget that dead sakura tree on their website when they announced Kagrra,'s demise. I cried for hours that day. Especially after Isshi left this world, it was so hard to listen to them again. But today I'm glad to rediscover how wonderful they were, and to fall in love with them all over again. Kagrra, really was unique.

First listened to this band in the early 2000's (with Nue). Literally grew up on the hard rock/heavy metal genre and while my tastes are probably dominated by western rock acts, if I ever wanted to be a songwriter, the band I would want to sound the most like would be Kagrra,. They're not the hardest, not the fastest, not the loudest, not even the most progressive, but they simply sound so... melodically balanced without ever relying on cliche techniques. Just so unique and while obviously loaded with technical talent, they're always applied in a manner that is ever so controlled, so precise and appropriately measured. I'm grateful that they at least left us a substantial amount of this brand of cutting edge hard rock music to keep listening to. Underrated is an understatement. These guys are downright legends.

I knew Kagrra 11 days ago and I can't stop watching and listening their songs. They are always in my head. Many many thanks for posting their concerts. What a wonderful voice and a beautiful music. "Utakata" and "shizuku" are so sad !! Thank you Kagrra for all your songs and thank you Isshi, wherever you are, for your voice.
