Hello, I think this is great list. Especially if you dont have the Level 0s (Chika-Riki, Kei-CleanCut) available, which are very expensive. Playing the 1/0 Event for more triggers is a great idea. Also it converts hand into stock for Freefresh-Counter or digging for certain characters with the Drop-Selvage after the a bit "unspecific" plussing of the Level 1 Combo. Also if someone wants to invest a bit more, the blue EP-Ai would make a great addition to this list.

which card are you reffereing to by "the blue EP-Ai"?

@@spyro2002 KGL/S79-E075 "Serious Showdown Between Geniuses, Ai". It is a 4 or more char EP with heal, 10k (usually) and opponent can not play events during battle. Event though it is a RR, they are not that expensive.

That deck didn't turn out as low budget as I liked it to be back then, requiring two Trial Decks and atleast a couple of RRs sadly. I might revisit it as a mid+ budget deck at some point tho.

how necessary do you percieve the freefresh counter being for this list? Also thoughts on using "Skill "A MAiden's tears", Kaguya" instead of the 1/1 ai to make the balance a little better between blue and red.

If you want to build this way. I would play on Level 1: 4xCX-Combo Kaguya, 2x 'Maidens Tear Kaguya (1/1 Kaguya)', 1x 'Panic Kaguya (2k Counter)'. On Level 2: 2x 'Bewitching Pose Kaguya (Freefresh)', 3x Yu/Ai, 1x Assist Kaguya and 3x Events.

You can play any other counter if you want, but for the board you'll be presenting 2500 should usually be enough so the added utility of the freefresh is nice. Not playing a counter seems a bit off tho, but you can definitely change which one or even the ratio.

Technically any big 1/1 would work in that slot. To me the Ai has some merit in that she keeps your level 1 line up blue and can guarantee you not being reversed for the 1/0 event, in case your opponent might present level 1 bombs or big counters. If you have issues getting red then the Kaguya you mentioned is a valid replacement and should be able to serve a similar role with her raw stats instead of Ai's niche ability.

I think I'm actually going to use the refresh counter after all XD I tried a couple games without it and both times I refreshed with like 4 climaxes, I take that as a sign that it's needed. Something different that I'm messing with now is the event package I'm not sure how well it has performed so far are there any suggestions for how to use it and/or possible replacements? (I guess it's worth mentioning that this is my first time playing with standby and while I know the general theory behind it I'm not sure if there are any practical details that elude me)
