It was one of the coolest paddleboard rides we've ever gone on.

Hi !! Is there any place on Oahu to rent inflatable paddle boards.? We have out own in CA and use them every weekend. we're leaving today for Oahu and would like to do the paddle that you two are on in this video. looks amazing!

That's awesome. You'll love this trip!! BYU Hawaii is on the north shore--pretty close to Kahana Bay--and they rent hard paddle boards (not inflatable) if you have a vehicle big enough to take them. The price is reasonable and they rent by the day. Another option is in Haleiwa--there are 3 or 4 places to rent them there. I remember 1 of the places offered foam protectors for your roof and straps so you could transport a hard board. Check out our Haleiwa video and you'll see some of those companies. And Haleiwa is another awesome paddle board trip. If you have inflatable boards, you can check them as luggage. We've done that a number of times without any issues. Have a great time! --the Paddleboard Places Team

Do you guys do parks all over the US? I live in az and really look forward to trying the spots youve showed on your channel. Great content and great video formats!

Thank you. Yes, we're trying to paddle about 20 rivers/lakes each year and we go all around the country. AZ has some great paddle board spots. Check out our 2 Salt River videos and Watson Lake video. We plan to go to Canyon Lake AZ later this year or next. Let us know other places you'd like to see. Thanks for watching, and keep on paddling!

When was this video taken? I have never seen wild pigs running around kahana Bay park during broad daylight like that

It was in April of this year. They were right out in the open and not afraid of us. We kept our distance but they were so cool!

That river leads all the way into the back of the valley where it splits up into many directions. Kahana valley is great for rafting, not so much for sup with how strong the currents are plus all the rapids and little waterfalls.

It was so beautiful. We absolutely loved it! At the end, the river got so narrow and the current became so strong that we couldn't go any further. But it was one of the most amazing paddle board trips we've ever done!

@@PaddleboardPlaces next time you are on Oahu check out the hiking trails that lead into kahana valley. You get to see where the river leads to, with waterfalls, lazy rivers and swimming holes. All in a very lush green tropical paradise. Just remember to bring mosquito spray!

Did you see any turtles in Kahana Bay river?

They weren’t pineapple trees. Pineapple grows on the ground. They are Pandanus trees. Cool adventure! Try to take valuables with you, maybe in a waterproof fanny pack or back pack, and don’t leave them in the car. Too many break ins.

Thank you. That explains it--Pandanus. That's good to know. We appreciate your help with this as we didn't know for sure. Thanks for watching.

They are not pineapples, they are called lauhala tree. The leaves are used to make hats, mats, bracelets, baskets. Or Pandanus tree.❤
