*REPOSTING BECAUSE THEY HID MY COMMENT! FUNNY HOW YOUR "ACCOUNTABILITY" IS ALL TALK...* 1:16:25 @KahlenBarry (ily), but you had every right to be nervous to come on here in my opinion. As someone who was on tana stan twitter back in the day, bleedycon was absolutely ruthless at times. Many members of the group fatshamed and were extremely microaggressive towards other fans not in their group. There was even a drama about their behavior at a past VidCon/Playlist event (I cannot remember which one it was). I think it is funny that at 1:16:59 - Brittany is laughing about how mean their groupchat was, when they were straight up perpetuating and covering up Tana's past at times and bullying other fans and calling it jealousy because of Tana's weird parasocial relationship with them being so close. Entitlement and privilege from that group. Coming from a former tana stan twitter fan's perspective... I do not think it is funny Stan Twitter "made them mean," they were just rude people. Can't speak for them now, but her laughing and not remembering that much from that era because she was one of the people being cruel to others is interesting for sure... why would she remember something that did not impact her? Talking about accountability but not remembering how vicious you were at the time is a choice for sure. Love you Kahlen, came from the reddit

I honestly brought up the idea of bleedycon being mean sometimes in hopes of opening the conversation about how fans online would do anything at the time to be ‘on top’ of a fandom - but that being said there wasn’t drama that had to do with the groupchat being accused of bullying/fatshamming/microaggressions. would be happy to address anything specific but the main drama regarding an event was people tweeting photos of our members after shows (who were all minors) because they went backstage/got to sit inside the barricade for the show. there was a lot of drama but i don’t think anyone in the chat was a bad person or a bully, or ever took part in harassment.
