Amazing show. And I could put on the musician hat and analyze it in this comment but I’ll just say incredible solos, beautiful medley, and the speech was amazing and I think it’s really great that they’re actually saying something with the music as well as having fun and playing fantastically. Just as Mingus, Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Shorter, Monk, and so many others did. As well as modern composers such as Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott) and of course, as mentioned in the video, Immanuel Wilkins still do. Keep swingin’ everyone (or rather keep music-ing in general).
