As an oud player who is learning mandola I want to tell you you've done a wonderful job here, adapting the piece for the unique voice of the mandola. The tremelo picking technique connects the oud and mandola and you've presented a very tender interpretation from the great Farid. Well done!

I’ve never heard of “Farid al-Atrash”, (El Atrash?), but after listening to this tune, played as you’ve played it, on a mandolin (!) I will certainly be doing a little research into this person and their music.
