Raghav Chawdhary Yeah, I can totally see the gamble behind it. But remember that all of these players have Champions League Football under their belt. Ziyech helped carry a very young side to a semifinal, Timo has helped push Leipzig to a quarter, and Havertz played reasonably well against the likes of Juve and Atléti. Doing that week in and week out is different but understand that the talent is definitely there.

@@jeremiasintong6803 I disagree. Pulisic has been that good. We just don't know if he can play like that for a full season. If he can and does, he will be better because unlike hazard, pulisic shoot, even on his weaker foot when hazard would never think to shoot. I think of that goal against palace when he just decided f it, left foot near post. Hazard ain't doing that. So the potential is there, but I think the attack next season is better than when hazard was on this team. It's filled with competent finishers and goal scorers, something hazard severley lacked. I also think Lampard wants to have quality in depth as well which is why he going for so many offensive players. Ziyech doesn't work for a game? Hudson odoi on. Werner not going well, can put on Abraham or giroud. All three are different forwards. Havertz is something we don't have in the middle. Pulisic will be that hazard magic we Chelsea fans miss. Ziyech...that left foot lmao.

Spending money in the right areas helps, but doesn't guarantee anything. You already spent 71 million on the worlds most expensive goalkeeper and now you want to replace him. It takes time for players to settle, and some dont settle at all. Let's see next season if youre right. But closing a 30+ point gap in one season will be highly unlikely. Liverpool will strengthen, and city need to strengthen. Same top two with United chelsea and spurs fighting for champs league spots

6:14 this would sum up his Chelsea career so far. He always has this in him. To just pass the ball into nobody, allowing the opposing team to counter. Positionally he's very good. But his control, his ability to use his right foot and run with the ball, his awareness of the players around him closing down or on his own team in pockets. He's just not ready for Premier League football, and these highlights don't even really show to me that he has the potential to be anything too amazing.
