So beautiful. If only there is an English subtitle (along with the Ainu lyrics subtitle), that will be perfect. This song feels so magical and serene.

That is a translation of the lyrics: "At the end of the Kuroshio Current, the Hidaka Mountains of Hokkaido, the highest mountain, the lake just below the peak of Mount Poroshiri, is called ΚΑΙ ΚΑI AS TO, the rippling lake, the distant and nearby kamuy gather on the shores of the rippling lake, and the power of that kamuy! It brings it closer to everyone's hearts." Things that may be important to understand the lyrics: -Kuroshio current is the Pacific ocean current that runs through Japan and helps to make hokkaido, the most northern big island of Japan, rich in sea food. -Kamuy or kami are the "spirits" and gods that are worshiped by the Shinto, a kind of religion heavily influenced by the ainu people. Shintoism have a strong relationship with mountains, trees and water courses. Mount Fuji itself is a kami. Kai Kai as to may not be a kami itself, but is so wonderful that the kamuys are attracted. Those things and places that attract kamis are called yorishiro (I think ... A long time since I've learned that). Even with the huge ainu influence, today's Shinto is understood as a product of 18-20 century japanese imperial power over this milenar tradition and a form to give japanese people an identity. So there is a huge difference between those kamis from the music and the amaterasu (sun goddess) kamis. Maybe we should take a look at the birds kamuys and ape kamuys , and their meaning to ainu people to better understand and feel the power that they emit in kaikai as to.
