Commentators already get dragged for bias, the same issue will arise with ex fighters as judges. They've trained at certain gyms, have a style they have a bias towards. You can't fix judging because it's entirely opinion based.

Ive seen some shocking decisions by the judges, but that's a candidate for worst ever. Especially when someone dominates a round and a judge gives it to the one who got dominated... makes you lose all faith in the sport. And feel bad for Kai losing so much money, ranking, opportunities etc.

The CRAZIEST thing to me is that the BETTING ODDS WERE -400 FOR KAI KARA JUST BEFORE THE FIGHT ENDED LMAO. MINUS 400. If judges have THAT much power over a fighters livelihood, they DEFINITELY need to be held accountable and need to be audited when things like this happen.

Amir jumps 4 spots, Kai drops 2. Rankings committee had about half of courage to not drop Kai significantly. Frankly a 3-2 for Amir is less defensible than a 5-0 for Kai. Amir had dominant position in the 3rd, but Kai reversed it and started damaging him right at the end. So what matters more? control or damage.

The easiest step the UFC can take moving forward is having 5 judges instead of 3 and allowing them to watch the fight through a monitor and instant replay in between rounds, i dont know if that will fix the bad judging but it would help

I Believe One Championship have an official review system with different judges who rewatch and rescore the fight and can overturn the official decision on the night,. It happened a little while ago with Denise Zamboanga but unfortunately the result remained unchanged.

Robbery you say? Look no further than the post fight interview with Dana. He went on and on about Amir and the "Stans" countries in general and how they support their fighters. Support = Revenue. Coupled with the rumors that PFL and/or Bellator were seeking Arab investors, its easy to see that Dana wants to keep them (Arabs) from investing in other companies by showcasing middle eastern fighters in the UFC. At an cost necessary. Obviously.

Can’t believe Kai Kara France ate a cheeseburger at the airport in front of me. I think he got the medium cheeseburger meal from McDonald’s everybody, that’s the wrapper I saw him take off of the cheeseburger. He definitely had the medium fries and Coke to go with it too. Then he walked into a bookstore I was in, he walked up to me and said he wants to eat some more McDonald’s yummy cheeseburgers and that’s when he walked out of the bookstore and continued on he’s path out of the bookstore and to McDonald’s for another cheesy cheeseburger.
