All my CV voicebanks ARE encoded in romaji AND Hiragana. And I have never seen a VCV ust that's made with romaji, so that shouldn't be necessary. But yes, there is a plugin that lets you convert the ust from roma to hira. I don't have the link to it, but I found it over KZbin. Do some searching and you'll find it.

No he's just bisexual in general, in fact all Vocaloid/UTAUloids are considering different people ship them with different characters and make songs with them ext. for example: some people ship Rin and Len, there's a song for that, others ship Rin and Kaito, there's a song for that too, and others ship Len and Kaito, Rin and Gumi, ext. there are songs for all ships :)
