Definitely a huge glow up compared to his previous crafts. But I feel mixed on Heavenly Halter and new Vandalize Raid. I feel like it lost the impact of the original crafts and they look over animated if that makes sense. Looking more at it, I kinda got used to the new Heavenly Halter animation, but I still can't get used to new Vandalize Raid.

Some of the animations now are just like: "So... WE already made good motion for all crafts... How can we enhance that without creating entirely new crafts for Van? OH I KNOW, Let~s make he do at least three times more mallabarism for the same thing, it worked well for Fie!" Well, technically it's like that for most characters. XD

Yeah, I'm actually a little mixed on Van's new craft animations. I mean, obviously they're of generally much higher quality than the first set, but let's see... For such a simple attack, Gale Slash miiiiight be overdoing it a little with all the camera transitions? Does look good though I think Raging Buster looks really nice, moreso than before Coin Bullets, uh... did this one change? lol Heavenly Halter is my biggest contention. On one hand, the new animation looks absolutely fantastic. On the other hand, it kind of adds some shuffling where the original appeal of the move was the simple brutality of the attack. Van puts his weapon down and just punches the shit out of them. That's badass. Heated Roar, my sentiments on Gale Slash apply here. Looks good though. Vandalize Raid has one minor issue: in the first animation, Van hit the enemy during his initial kiai, which had some weight to it before the rest of the beatdown occurred, which doesn't happen in the new animation. However, the new animation not only has just much better camera work going, it has that badass roundhouse kick before the palm thrust. Definitely giving this one to Kai. Azure Sky Afterglow is... the exact same, lol. I think all of Grendel's crafts are the same, too. No real winners there.

@@mango8099 Rise of the Grendel. I'm trying to pick fitting songs for characters whenever I can, and that's kind of his song! Definitely could've had fun with a certain *other* song, but I decided against it.

even on Very easy/easy mode my HIGHEST damage a s crafts barely topped 50,000 AOE enemies or 100,000 in a BOSS fight but since bosses 1/2 way through this one ON Very Easy/easy mode have MORE HP then the 1st 2 games FINAL bosses they take TOO long to KILL.
