Notice how nervous Kai was during EXO reaction, how close to heart he took DO's compliment. He couldn't breathe and we all know he was half proud to show a good song and MV half cringing to see himself on screen and finding what could've been changed.. Perfectionist who can't stop improving 👑🐻🥰

Kai said he was a spy under cover and he came to the shop for new id's and tasks (like tickets to a ballet performance). Notice that Kai had to take not only a new name but to reflect the image in the photo, so when the old lady gave him all denim and pearls photo id, Kai looked at her annoyed and she looked back like "what? That's all I had for you!". But then the barber shop where Kai got id's and changed his image, got destroyed and he had to DIY a new id exactly after the lady gave him that last id with blank spaces. So at the very beginning of MV it's actually the end when Kai can choose himself the name and photo, whatever he likes. The whole song is about Kai's talent to "peel off" the old concept and persona and create a new one to fit a new concept. Kai's a true artist with a deep understanding of every detail and his vision is way ahead of the rest of the industry. This third album is even more experimental than the second. And his vocals improved even more, as with each comeback. The boy been taking vocal lessons all through the years.

yess we need a kai week!! he has two mini albums BEFORE this one, both only six songs KAI (2020) & PEACHES (2021) he only has two other MVs: -Mmmh (2020) -Peaches (2021) kai did a visualizer/short film for his first album called “FILM: KAI” you NEED to watch, it’s like 6 minutes & previews all the songs on the mini album! he’s going to drop another ‘FILM: KAI’ for this new mini album ROVER on march 20th. btw ROVER means a person who wanders

When people listen to River they HAVE to know that Kai's superpower is teleportation and that with each comeback Kai becomes the embodiment of a new concept (for SuperM comeback he gained 5 kg of muscle only to lose all of it and more for EXO comeback with Obsession weeks later). Kai totally reinvents himself and for each solo comeback he smartly chooses another style and sound so all his albums are incomparable to each other but all are full of quality and experiments with sound.

Rover means wanderer. To rove is to travel extensively. His power in Exo is teleportation. He has different identities per location he goes to. He said he is a spy in the MV. I think this MV links to the exo story line with the red force. You see the lights change to red and his 'headquarters' was blown up. So it looks like they have found him so he has to rove again. Thanks for the react. Yes the imminent military service was also at the back of my mind and this is Kai's gift before he goes.

Do Kyungsoo just has an unrealistically beautiful face and is literally getting more beautiful every day. He is exactly the kind of person who suits absolutely any style, hairstyle and concept, as evidenced by numerous EXO albums, numerous advertising and numerous acting shots of Kyungsoo, which are so different in a variety of roles and images.

Bitter sweet is correct, it’s all good 👍, EXO did do a reaction, he does have a performance piece on Rover, I don’t know if one has to pay for it so I watched it on another reactor’s channel-it’s nice you’ll like it, 1st album mmmh (Film Kai are 6 mini appetizers/I recommend it), 2nd album peaches and 3rd album is Rover, whatever you want on Kai week, choreos will make you sway😂, naysayers yes, Rover means wanderer-keep it moving with his motorcycle 🏍🤜 vroom vroom like his teleportation always jumping from one place to another, it’s Afro-Latin beats, Jamaican dancehall dance vibes, yes Bob Marley, yes he looks good, he’s also infusing African-samba-rumba-salsa into his dance moves, Jamaican reggae from the 70s, different aliases, hiding incognito, from the haters-he did mention it but I forgot most of it and oh at the end of Rover when he fell he did hurt himself, the lady reminded me of John Wick when they give you a new identity, Xiumin was feeling it, chopping hair references new identity, yes Xiumin was loving it, catchy is correct, the fall was part of the video but he hit his head hard on the floor, there were no matts, the lady is an underground undercover agent, he had various IDs so that he wouldn’t be identified, Xiumin fanboys all of them as being the proudest elder one, so far I saw the dance challenge with Suho, okay in short hotel, undercover, aliases, female agent, traveling to different places on his vroom vroom 🏍 Rover, the dancing ballerinas represents Kai’s youth as a ballerino and the rest is swag, they do have each other’s back as a brotherhood. It sounds like Reggaeton to me. I think that was the genre you were referring to. It's a mix of both reggae and dance hall but with a Latin vibe.
