Kai is a project worth taking on I think. Good shooting stroke, good moves and footwork in the post, good passer, rolls well towards the hoop, presents himself well for post passes and lobs, etc. Very deceptive defensively and can be a good disrupter. More and more I am convinced that the only thing truly holding him back is his strength, which is workable anyway. If I was a team with a late pick I would seriously consider taking him. Could end up being somewhat of a hybrid Rik Smits.

Dapat i-train niya ito habang personally habang walang laro: shooting, depensa niya na dapat nakataas ang mga kamay, dribbling, at yung lateral movement niya sa switching. Para pagdating na ipapasok na siya sa laro, kahit na konting minuto lang ibibigay sa kanya. May quality minutes siyang maibibigay sa team. Dun makikita ng coach na pwede ka ng bigyan ng malalaking playing time. Pero wala parang napako na siya kung ano siya ngayon. Naging comportable na siya... Ang dami ng nagsasabi na kailangan todo training para makapasok ng NBA. Pero wala eh. bye bye NBA dream na lang...

I watch the highlights video of wembanyama and kai. I think kai is bit agile than wembanyama and wembanyama useses a lot of his lenght and understands that advantage of him and both shoot outside and handles the ball if necessarily, but wembanyama is younger and taller and has a better rich.

Taller but less athletic kevon looney. His points mainly come from putbacks. Nice middy but you gotta have a dribble package in the nba as well (creating own shot). Zero post up game. I cant see him banging downlow in an nba court. Slow on his feet and low vertical. Timing is off but length makes up for it. 7'2 guys are expected to be Unicorns in the NBA that's why he wasn't drafted.
