My wife got this for me, for Christmas. Had great fun putting him together on Boxing day! The control works nicely from the app for movement and playing with the LEDs, and the AI learning side looks pretty good, for teaching kids about machine learning, which is, after all, the whole point of the robot. But even as just a bit of fun, it's a great little piece of kit. Took a couple of hours to put together. I didn't have any issues at all. If I had one complaint, it would be that they've missed a trick as it could very, very easily be expanded by opening it up to laptop controlled bluetooth with the ability to program it yourself (After all, the programming is all device-side anyway, not on the robot - he's basically a bluetooth controlled pair of motors and a small LED screen with a beeper). That's something I would have loved to play around with.

@@thechristophertysonadventu7403 I'm glad you enjoyed this kit and had fun building it. I never did try the app for it. I just mainly wanted to build it and watch it walk around. Maybe they'll make an updated version of it with more features.

That's a cool kit. The crab movement is awesome.

This is one of the cooler kits I've built lately. Yes that crab walk is too cool! 😄😁

Now they just need to come out with a blue tooth controller for it. I do not like using a smart phone to control my toys. Great robot design. Thank you for sharing with us.

I agree. I prefer and standard joystick controllers. That way you can feel the control sticks and don't need to keep looking at the phone to see where your fingers are. I really like the way this robot looks! 😁

This reminds me of Babyface the creepy robot in Toy Story with the baby doll head. Pretty cool.

Oh yeah! It does look like that! 🤣😅

love it but super limited. I wish there was an SDK for it. I was unable to find anything on the internet. Also it would have been nice to also leave a few GPIO for other sensors or motors. Now that would have made this robot super amazing. It has an ESP 32 so there are a lot of possibilities since you can use Tenserflow and a camera. A lot of missed opportunity on this robot.

Is it smart ? Self learning? How much is it like vector or cozmo is likeness?
@outsider2382 ай бұрын
@vortex3811 No it's basically a robot with distance sensors on the front. It has no AI.

@@outsider238why is it called the “artificial intelligence robot” then
@outsider238Ай бұрын
@@thatweirddoorsfan Artificial Intelligence or AI is used rather loosely these days without actually being true AI.

@greeniuscaesar I'm glad you're doing good! Emo's doing fine. Has a bit of a shaky leg issue. Seems like all of them have this happen after a while. Hopefully LivingAI will fix that issue. There hasn't been an update in a while because I think they want Emo's update to coincide with the release of Aibi which has been delayed so hopefully some new stuff coming soon!

How come Does that robot have hard feet because basically if I was trying to sleep in that row Bob was walking around I would probably not be able to sleep but on the other hand with IMO he’s just fine he walks pretty quiet, so how come does IMO have easier feet so they’re not that noisy and that of a robot feed is noisy I’m not trying to say because I Emo’s better than that but I’m just trying to know
@outsider2389 ай бұрын
Emo has phelt padding on his feet so they're soft and quiet. Kai only has hard plastic feet.
