Kai literally cut mountains in half, pulled boulders, and she put him in a cage... the chameleon wouldn't stand a chance without the plot. I think the main problem with this movie is the chameleon is so strong for seemingly no reason, like kai trained for 500 plus years and beat oogway with trouble, but we just see this new villain capture everyone with no effort

the thing is, Kai fought Oogway with the staff of wisdom for hours even when he didn't have the chi of other masters. Kai is literally going to tear the Chameleon apart with his 600 years of experience and extreme strength of being a spirit warrior (fighting in the spirit realm is insanely hard) Oh and Kai is literally chi dust so I don't know how he is alive.

Wat u talking about were assuming this has only been a couple of years since kung fu panda 3 and in that period he captured oogway seemingling the most powerful kung fu master in the history of the universe(if you think I'm going overkill with "in the history of the universe" he sent the universe mail to po ) destroyed the furious five ,shifu , whilst before the events of the movie has been hunting down all of the other masters in the spirit realm for 500 years , whilst his battle with oogway , oogway comments on how kai has gotten stronger sooooo, he was not in his prime!!!!???

Only reason why Kai lost was because after the third film. He probably was weakned due that Po took away all the Chi that he collected by overloading him with too much of his Chi, that he couldn't handle or control. Also by the fact that the Chameleon didn't give him chance to react or even to give up a little fight. Like she did with Tai Lung. If Kai was on his prime, he would had given a more longer fight. Since basically Kai and the Chameleon powers and abilities are almost the same since they consist of taking away the vital energies of others or in these case their Chi, to use them in their favor.
