Unfortunately, Kaiba's deck, a power-type that focuses on beatdowns, is a good counter to it. It's like rock-paper-scissors: Yugi is paper, Rafael is scissors, Kaiba is rock.

He's yugis nightmare Pretty much made the pharaoh his dueling bitch, imagine Rafael not taking the pharaohs soul to dartz and keeping it as a trophy, occasionally restoring it to his puzzle to duel for him when Rafael can't be bothered, threatening to seal him away again if he doesn't making yugi think he could save his friends then sealing him back anyway He had yugi in his pocket both times, almost literally too soul card and that Kaiba would've been horrified if yugi was captured, thank god he won here he can save the day for once 😂

Actually, Yami would have won the rematch fairly had he summoned King's Knight in attack mode instead of BSG in defense mode. After destroying Dreadscythe, he could have attacked a wide-open Rafael with KK and won.
