i love how this scene is really memorable for luffy. in the final battle wano arc, luffy telling mink tribe what they did to not sell their friend is crazy. loyalty is luffy strong point as a character after all, remember when he almost died for keep quiet about ace while he got tortured

For anyone that was like me a long time ago and has no idea what’s going on, because they found this at random: Context: The animal people (the Mink Tribe) here are harboring a shinobi, Raizo. They have kept him here in their country, _Zou,_ allowing it to be used as a safe haven and rendezvous point for Raizo and his samurai companions (the three shown here). During Raizo’s time there, Zou was raided by one of the Four Emperor’s (one of the superpowers of the world) fleet, the Beast Pirates. The Beast Pirates laid siege to Zou, as they were searching for Raizo. They destroyed the cities, butchered civilians, and tortured the soldiers, including the cat and dog (who are the leaders of the country). Even as they were killed, tortured, gassed, and had their limbs cut off, everyone interrogated said they’d never even *heard* of a guy named Raizo. This went on for _17 days straight._ It wasn’t just the soldiers, either. In a show of extreme loyalty, even after 17 days of death and torture, not a single man, woman, or child sold Raizo out. *_“Raizo is safe.”_*
