Kaido was built different

I genuinely believe Kaido is one of the better villains to come out of a Shonen Manga. Simple, powerful and gave the main cast a goal to eventually work towards. However, what I believe really pushes him past the average Shonen villain is that his demeanor doesn't really change as he fights his opponents. Even when faced against what is essentially a cartoon character he looks at the challenge as nothing more than an opportunity to really let loose. This is not a powerscaling video, rather more a discussion on how I came to this opinion. The other villains I mentioned are not being compared in terms of their combat capabilities but more so how they react when presented with a similar scenario.

I mean there is a scene where Kaido literally can’t escape Luffy right before he gets thrown and Luffy goes to punch him. But the ending works much better if Kaido could have dodged and choose not to out of respect.

Also I think even in the Manga when kaido entered his flaming baguva mode luffy couldn't hold on to him any longer and kaido chooses to take the attack head on

Not to mention that physics was against Kaido during the Bajarang exchange. Luffy was punching downwards while Kaido was charging upwards. If both are equal strength, Kaido's still bound to go down due to the trajectory going down inevitably.

Kaido is the most terrifying character I've ever seen in the series I'll even say one of the most terrifying and powerful characters of anime history *(that's my thought I don't want to have dumb debates please if people feel triggered don't bother answering)* so powerful the gorosei didn't want to make him mad because they knew the terrible consequences Kaido alone and his crazy 30'000 zoan army is enough to terrorize WG and beyond. It is unfortunate Oda didn't bring more of his backstory because I feel there's more we need to know about him hopefully someday like say the God valley incident or just solely him we might see it overall he's amazing moving forward we may never see a character like Kaido for the final saga Kaido was the gateway of the final saga if you think about it like he's among the last 3 villains Luffy encounters the 2 others being Blackbeard Imu.
