They did. _kinda_ There was testing version with crouch feature, but NW decided it wasnt necessary.

"that aint no revolver." it is. its a revolver that has a bump on it instead of the typical revolver. this way you can put the bump against your shoulder. it helps with recoil and such. so yes, it is indeed a revolver =P
