hrmm... i'm japanese half malaysian. and i'm muslim. i live alone. bcoz i live alone since child, no one ever teach me about muslim until i was 9 y.o. i told my friends that i was muslim and they run away. well, it was very hard for me. since then, i tried to search a halal food, how to read al-quran and how to pray.it was impossible for me. well, how the heck can i know about these? i dont even know that i'm muslim in the beginning and how to read al-quran and praying when i was 9! but i never give up. slowly i begins to know how to read al-quran and to pray. it was thanks to Allah and one of my friends. they really helps me a lot

Most of them know the true value of Islam because they weren't born into it, it's a new found treasure for them. The ones who are "used to it" don't need to really dig deep to find out about Islam, they copy their surroundings. But once you start studying, especially the life of the prophet (pbuh) and his companions there is much more appreciation. That's what the Muslim society lacks the most, knowledge. Converts/reverts first seek out for this kind of knowledge. That's why they're more likely to have a deeper connection to Islam.

He is more muslims than any people who're muslims since they're born (including me). Love how it was repeated many times he was able to control his emotions and attitude based on Quran. And I really felt ashamed of myself. I have followed a few Japanese muslims, and seriously they're always the best kind of muslims. The way they're so determined to make islam as their lifestyle. eventhough it is so foreign and difficult for them. Their outlook on Islam is very refreshing and my favorite is probably when he said after he reverted to islam, his life becomes easier. God will always make way for people with sincere heart whenever they're doing the right thing. I hope i can be more like him. Constantly learning and improving. My 2nd fav thing with this vid is the mosque. I thought it was named camii because well, it is a grand/main mosque. Dang, it didn't occur to me that they built it almost 70% like Ulu Camii in Bursa, Turkey. One of the historical mosques in Islam civilization.

Here in Egypt it's hot as well and humid during summer, a good tip is to try and drink water in regular basis 5 days before Ramadan starts, specially at the evening and not that much during the day, that will help your body to cope with the changes the very first days of Ramadan. Also, it's said that tasbeeh (saying sobhan Allah w alhamdollAllah) will make you fell less thirsty or hungry. I would also recommend eating lots of watery fruits and vegetables like cucumber and watermelon, dates is a good option for what Kaiji said about his brain stopping at 3pm. May Allah help you with your first Ramadan. all the wishes for all the new Muslims all around the world, may Allah guide you through your journey.
