I would love to see konami make additions to kaijus that are different. My dream would be continuous spells that represent buildings and small monsters that are tanks and soldiers who fight kaijus. The kaijus then have summoning and ability conditions that require destroying soldiers and buildings

@@Dehalove pheraps that's too much but yeah it'd be cool if they received the same treatment of Subterrors, with more big monsters and some tiny monster representing humans.

I think kaijus definitely need some new support. Speaking in terms of kaiju counters, kaiju monsters with quick effects are the most useful kaiju monsters. Kaiju need cards that can add more kaiju counters on the field and need a monster card that allows the duelist to control at least two kaiju monsters. I think the kaiju cards labelled as "anti-kaiju" aren't true kaiju support cards. Those anti-kaiju cards were created with the purpose of countering the regular kaiju cards, thus I don't consider anti-kaiju monsters to be true kaiju monsters.

All huge agrees! I wish there was a way to deactivate the tribute effect in exchange for actual effects. While that would be worse, it would make it a much more flavorful deck

@@Dehalove I use a kaiju deck in Master Duel. Gameciel, Jizukiru, and Gadarla are the most useful kaijus. The omni-negate gimmick of gameciel is able to win most matches if it resolves, but has a few vulnerabilities. It needs kaiju counters and my deck doesn't get kaiju counters on the field consistently and the fact there's usually one monster on the field can be disadvantageous. Also, I have learned that since Dogoran is a dinosaur monster and giving a dinosaur deck this kaiju will end up helping the dinosaur deck than the kaiju deck. I mix a few graydle and danger monsters in my kaiju deck, but I'm thinking of adding one of the gizmek monsters.
