Something that' lost in translation is that when Mina was talking to Kafka, she switched from formal to informal and back to formal attitude. The "you" she used in several sentences actually switched from "omae" (formal, for outsiders) to "kimi" / "Kafka-kun" (for a close friend) when the camera wasn't on, and then back to "omae" when she said "sit, its' time". This is something usually lost in English translations because English language does not distinguish between formal and intimate form. For Europeans I hope they make that distinction in their translations.

In case you didn't catch it and I know a lot of people didn't....Kafka's inner Kaiju Says "Kill Kill Kaiju Kill" The Director is currently using a Kaiju power and that makes him feel like a Kaiju. If he wasn't using that Kaiju power, Kafka probably wouldn't lose control because it seems like his Kaiju only cares about killing Kaiju and that is why he probably kept Kafka in order to blend in as a human. There is a theory that Kafka isn't a normal human to begin off with. Maybe he is a descendant of a human Kaiju hybrid. That is still up for debate.

Surprised not many people got it. They made it clear that he was giving a Kaiju aura when using the No. 2 weapon. When it said to kill kaiju, it seemed obvious that it was due to that. People prob noticed, but didn't take much from it.

Probably not yet, after this arc/encounter the're will be another arc before the one where they introduce Narumi. But if next week is the last ep. we might see that in the first few ep. of the 2nd cour/season which is already in the works.

They are probably gonna end at the part where chief made a deal with kafka or when kaiju no.9 said that he's gonna get the power of other kaiju's, which is still chapter 38. Remember, every episode is consist of 3-4 chapters.

So if the core is where Kafka's heart is supposed to be then the only way to separate kaiju no.8 from him is to crush/remove his heart. It'll be interesting to see if Kafka ever becomes human again.

AHHHHH EVERYONE HAD BELIEVED IN KAFKA AND STILL SAW HIM AS A FRIEND 😭😭😭😭. The animation was fire but I'm too pissed off at the fact that kafka was defending himself THE WHOLE TIME, meanwhile the old guy was beating him ass, actually trying to kill him. Kafka fearing for his life, goes into self defense mode then the old man has the nerve to say "so you finally showing your true self?" MF you trying to kill him, of course he'll snap and defend himself
