Hey Queens!!! Congrats to Isaac!! I can’t believe he’s in high school already!! I remember when my son & daughter started middle & high school like it was yesterday!! I was more nervous than they were!! lol My son is now 26 & my daughter is 24 but when they started middle school the day we went to meet the teachers & pick up their schedule I saw a floor plan of the school in case of a fire well I took my sons schedule number & highlighted each class according to his schedule then I put it on the front plastic part of his binder so all he had to do was look at his binder & go to the next class. I did make copies of the floor plan just incase there was a schedule change! God Bless yalls babies & may they have a safe & wonderful school year!!

Love love love this!! I adopted both of my daughters (one is my husbands child, the other was born to a family member of mine that was on drugs at the time & did not want to raise another child, so she asked me to adopt her since I have infertility issues, and the biomom died in a car wreck 10months later). I am forever grateful for her giving her baby a better life & for making me a Mama!! 😌

Wow, what an interesting story. 5:55 I’m a nanny and I think that she can have just as much affect on the little girls life by being a positive person in her life without adopting her. What loving grandparent would say “ oh yea strange person, go ahead and adopt her… “ they aren’t abusing her, they are old and have diff parenting styles. Not that bad of a living situation for her to try to “ rescue “ her. I think she is living in a fantasy as she hasn’t even met this child. I think she should offer to spend time with her and play dates with her son first and let them know that you are able to help in any capacity.

When I was in AZ I saw the WAYGO everywhere!!! Just watching/seeing a car navigate by itself, no driver…my anxiety was absolutely anxiety-ing! I couldn’t get past it for a couple hours after seeing one (each time)!!!! It was literally a feeling of what the fuck…no…just no!!! Getting in one of those damn things?!?!?! I will not ever, never fucking ever!

Omg I had this same exact thing happen my grandma's friends daughter was murdered by her husband holding the 5 month old. He went to prison and my grandma's friend raised her kids and didn't raise them right to say the least. Such a similar story.

I live in AZ and yes they stop in the middle of the road sometimes. They pull over on the side of the road if they are having issues. lol The only good thing is they don’t go on the freeways but they are so annoying.

Wanna hear something weird? I went to hs for 5 yrs. 8-12th grades. I went to school in Smyrna almost my whole life. So, for years, they had 8th grade in the hs because the schools were so small and the hs was the biggest, I guess. There wasn't so near as many people in Smyrna then. My class(1998) was the class to go to Smyrna High for 8th grade, though.

Shoot you guys are lucky even to have them in high school! We didn't have lockers at any of the schools and I attended 2 middle schools and 3 high schools, all in the one city I live in, and zero lockers in any....there were temporary use Lockers in the gym area like the locker rooms but that was it you put your stuff in for a short time during class you took it back out again and took it with you so you had to carry around like 60 or 70 lb backpacks all day...then at 34 years old you've already developed a traditionally elderly version of scoliosis and degenerative disc disease in your back, have spinal herniated disc surgeries already, etcetera haha that's the reason why!😂

She can just file for kinship foster care status. And kinship does not literally mean kin, in the definition of the word. It just means anybody in a familial relationship with the child. Someone who the child has known or a mom's best friend or a dads buddy etcetera and then both parents pass and that person could come in as a kinship foster parent and then adopt them. They're not literally family but they have a familial type relationship with the child. So it might actually be important to just go and speak with the family and the grandparents Etc and build a relationship don't bring up any of that adoption stuff quite yet and then as they get closer and closer if that's possible, eventually move towards that as an option, when discussing things in that closeness with the grandparents. For example it seems like you guys are really having a hard time with everything you guys need any help with her et cetera and then after that move it towards more like hey do you want me to take on more responsibilities with her to help you guys out. Then move that towards hey you know what I really feel like you guys would be more beneficial towards her as the grandparents and you would live longer and be in her life longer and benefit her to have you there etcetera as your grandparents and I love her so much you know we have a strong relationship (at THAT point at least), so how do you guys feel about maybe if I adopted her? Or, if they just completely act like assholes about it or just completely reject the idea because it's so emotionally upsetting Etc then just drop it and wait what maybe 6 months a year or year and a half at most because all she has to do is contact Social Services when they become too physically unhealthy to care for her as a 4, 5, 6 year old would need. And I know that sounds so terrible but if a biological parent couldn't physically take care of their child what would happen? Foster care. So if anything she could always just keep in contact with the social worker and request that they not let the grandparents know that they're discussing things with them in that way, then if anything happens to the grandparents and the social worker feels like they can't take care of her anymore or either and/or both of them pass, what have you, the social worker would already have this lady on speed dial and could just call her and be like you ready?
