Bheema Bakana betta is a hillock in the region where, if legend is to be believed, Bheema killed Bakasura , The Pandavas from Mahabharata are believed to have lived here during their exile. The hill is also called as the Bhima Bakasura betta where Bhima is believed to have slain Bakasura.
