That was so sweet! Our home was on a tour as well. Ours was a cookie tour. Each home had different types of homemade Christmas cookies, it was so fun. I hosted Thanksgiving for 18. We sat down and as soon as my son finished saying Grace our town lost power. We ate by candlelight and lanterns. Our power was out for 5 hours. I was so upset that the turkey and all those wonderful leftovers had to be thrown away. I cooked and baked for 3 days! I missed the leftovers so much. We had pizza the next night, lol. But we had a beautiful dinner and we were all together. ♥️🙏

Two of my homes were on Christmas tours. I made a punch out of egg nog, peppermint ice cream balls and 7-up. I hung candy canes around the silver punch bowl. It was a big hit.

We've had multiple houses with playrooms in the basement. If you can get your kids to play down there without you being down there, please give me tips. My kids would never go down without us. I do not know why, there were huge windows and it was finished, carpeted, bright and cheery. It's so frustrating!
