Equipment & Protection doing their usual: the turn prior to Akroma's Will, a Boros Charm was used to give Pia Double Strike while it had Protection from White due to Sword of Light and Shadow. That one at least could've been worked around on the spot without changing the outcome.

Ironically, I switched coin in the middle of the game… but still unlucky 😂😂😂. As for the thumb, based on experience, playing it too early is a immediate removal. So played with fire on top of coins I guess. 😂

I just made a start Kaima deck yesterday. I didn't do much research and only spent $3 so it will see upgrades soon for sure but I love making oddball edh decks nobody uses. This is the only game I have ever seen the wild pig played.

Great game except from the underwhelming 2-card combo ending. I especially liked the Kaima deck, very unique playstyle.

I agree, I am all for combos, but it just didn't seem to fit the table, and to end a game that was back and forth felt very lackluster. Maybe that was part of their pregame, but it's sad when the deck doesn't really showcase what it can do and then the game just ends.

@@elemint2 It's a lifegain deck, I don't see how it does NOT fit. It also came very late game, at which point everyone got a chance for their decks to do their stuff.

@@DarkEinherjar His commander deals with exiling with +1 +1. The Lifegain argument is weak. If i deal a damage with both cards on the field I just win. Again nothing wrong with the combo, but it'd be better if there were other combo decks at the table or blue decks that ran interaction. He combod off uncontested.

Again, the main issue with goad decks is that they're in a really bad spot once there's only one opponent left...

The main issue for me is the deck running out of gas. Wilds of Eldraine will really help with that.

@@COJred1 Look for auras that return to hand when put into the graveyard: Aspect of Mongoose, Fiery Mantle, Rancor, Fortitude, Sluggishness, Undying Rage and Unquenchable Fury.

It does both. First it deals damage and then there is the life gain making it +-0 for the one being attacked.
