5 months ago, in the valley of Chiang Dao, Alex and I met again after one year of not seeing and playing music together. Many years back, we were two nomadic Artists living and traveling around the world spreading Mandengue and Wassolou culture. We journeyed with our musical instruments and book of ancient songs from Europe to America to West Africa and to Southeast Asia and were invited to play in many stunning places along the way. For 5 hours everyday, we would dedicate our time to practicing and studying West African music together. This was life for a couple of years... Sharing the love for Music + Travel.
Bittersweet it was - Happy to reconnect and once again share our love for this music at the Shambhala in your heart festival in Chiang Dao 2020.
