Absolutely love your reaction to this. #TheatreKidsOfACappella. My #1 group and #1 bass. Geoff hitting those high notes is killer. The way sustains that last low note is amazing every time I hear it. Sub-Harmonic note.

You got the name right, :) It's pretty much what it looks like. I think when the name Eli is the whole name. it's pronounced like eel-eye. This Eli's name is short for Eliezer, so that's why it's said differently. I love your reaction to this. I imagine you'll be playing it over and over, as most of us do. :) Oh and it's subhamonics Geoff does. This song was written for Pirates of the Caribbean, At Worlds End.

Congratulations! You showed admirable restraint there. One of the reactors was so blown away, he got up and walked off, not realizing he was in his boxer shorts. At least you were fully dressed! You can see why this is so popular. It’s almost operatic between the costumes, and the incredibly complex arrangement and the quality of their voices. I’ve always said it’s like a tapestry of sound. Not a wall of sound because that is solid. But the tapestry is woven. You got Jose’s name right. Spanish is usually pretty easy to figure out except for the accents because most of the time the letters are pronounced the same way. Not like English where dough, through, cough, rough and bough all end the same but sound different! José and Cesar went to high school together and were in performances there. He actually was a last minute substitution because the artist that they had originally written the part for couldn’t make it due to Covid restrictions. So even though Jose is in the center back and is the featured artist, he does not have the majority of the lead lines which is normally the case with Voice Play. He could doesn’t do those crazy high notes like Eli does, so Eli had to re-record and Jose took the part that Eli originally was going to do I didn’t think anything would ever kick this off of my number one spot for their performances, but their recent one just shot right up there. It’s especially surprising to me because I am not a metal fan. But you just can’t argue with perfection.

Yeah, I totally understand the confusion about how to pronounce Eli, since most of us assume the first time that we see it that it's serving as a nickname for Elijah, hence you think it should be EE-lie (and I'm sure a lot of us grew up hearing Three Dog Night's song Eli's Coming, which pronounces it that way). But in this case it is short for Eliezar, where the first two syllables of the name is pronounced similar to the first two syllables of Elliot.

Ok Mr. Kaireem! (I subbed 2 help your goal btw) Some very gentile suggestions to perhaps help you along your way. Firstly your reactions themselves are fantastic and honest. That being said, there are some very very superficial actions that you could make to help you reach your goal. Firstly, is your "background", I know that it is very shallow, however merely watching someone's plain white painted room is dull for your audience. Simple fix? Rig some twine on across your backspace and hang one or more light colored flags, tapestries, team bed-sheets, or whatever suits your fancy so the audience is not watching yer flat screen TV in the background the whole time. Later as you grow, and can afford it, replace it with a simple green screen. Second (I was a Theater Nerd BTW.) is Lighting. Fluorescent, or cool white bulbs and LEDs "wash people out" making their eyes seem hollow or Zombie like, please use what is called a "warm white" or "natural light" bulb and your problems will be solved. A simple lighted mirror with your name and channel written on it with magic marker also works, use a cool color for it like green or purple. Once again! I am NOT critical of your reactions / style whatsoever, I merely want you to succeed in your endeavors. Good Luck ... AJ

Thank you 🙏🏾! Yes so I massively appreciate this comment. Love that you are giving me some feedback on what can be done on my background. I am aware of this and it’s the first thing on my list to improve but unfortunately nothing cheap to get and organise especially for my Name to be lighten up on a sign. Once I get somewhere or get enough money in general backing me I can then start purchasing new things to help my background look more appealing 😊. Thank you tho
