can we appreciate kiboy though? i feel like everyone is forgetting about him when kairi is upset that he has lost all the m series. imo kiboy has really improved alot since m4 and he is probably the best or if not one of the best roamers right now, tieing with owgwen. in that last match against ap bren i would said kiboy did decently despite his team losing. after they lost against ap bren, you can clearly see kiboy holding back his tears and was quite disappointed that they lost. let’s all support onic and not bash them 💪🏻

for me it’s CW, he performaned the worst in M4 and all the hate comments is about CW going 0/4/0 against RRQ. But now he rarely got any hate comments anymore, CW once said you need trauma to improve as a player and the trauma was definitely the hate comments

This is why Kairi is emotional in every M-series because he knew what it felt like knowing how you came so close to winning but yet devastated in the end by losing. Bottomline, Kairi is just like any players who dreamt of winning that series. And to be denied for three consecutive times is just heart-breaking. Going into the bush in g7 WAS intentional, don't discount apbren's absolutely devastating read, but with that aside, that bush thing was literally the best play he could've done with the information he had, because if he didn't dive, they wouldn't have gotten enough information on the area in order to actually contest the lord, and kairi was the only one who could have checked the bushes in the entire game because they have a soft comp. Knowing that, apbren decided to set up an ambush on the bush, honestly supermarco probably went a bit later so that kairi would be baited to go to that bush, and using that play, they ended the game

I was very sad to see Onic lose, but I was very heartbroken to see Kairi cry. Nobody is at fault. No one is to blame in the Onic team they all tried their best to win that title. The pressure just got to them. I hope they can recover from the loss and try harder next M-series. I hope they don't lose hope from getting that championship. Keep moving forward Onic, don't let anything slow you down and stop you from getting the M-World title. As you grow older, you keep losing and losing, hope is lost and false hope has broke him and Onic so I don't think he can recover fully, he probably won't perform any better, this is what I foresee. I won't be surprised if he retires or taking a long break after this heartbreaking moment. The Sky Kings has fallen, the wings have been clipped off. End of Onic. This is reality. But in the next season, they were lazy and ambitionless because they have acheive all mlbb tournament (except m-series) And now, look at them. now that you mention this.. Even tho it's really painful, akin to a curse for him, i think this result is better for him in terms of personal development. as mentioned by comments. It would give him a sense of goals that still need to be chased. But i do believe either way that even if he is to win, he will still hunger for more, namely to win 2 times or even 1st ever player to win 3 M Series.. But i just hope he can weather the storm currently that is Indonesian netizen (Im Indonesian, sadly).. It's really depressing for him. Onic PH was never gonna beat BLCK in M3. BLCK was like 2 patches update ahead of everybody. In M4, Onic ID lost because the rest of Kairi's team mates has PTSD against RRQ. BLCK was indeed the best team in M3, if anything was expected of ONIC it would be that they wouldn’t get swept. M4, I think RRQ just really prepared well for ONIC, His teammates have already beaten RRQ in MPL S8 and they 4-1’d them in MPL S10 finals. M5 it was mostly the bad draft in Game 7 that lost them the championship.

I think ONIC should keep this roster for next year. I think they should run it back. I mean they have obviously shown how good this roster is. One of the best rosters to ever play the game. They were 1 game away from completing the golden road. They only lost 3 series this whole year. The 3 series they lost are: MPL ID S11 vs RRQ 1-2 ESL SPS S3 vs Bren 1-2 M5 Finals vs Bren 3-4 And these losses werent one sided either and 2 of them was to AP Bren. Next season of MPL ID will be a lot tougher I think. Especially with all the imports coming in (Irrad, Brusko, Yawi (maybe), etc) I hope they give ONIC some competition so they can be challenged in their region. If Indo wants to win a world championship, they need to improve the level of play in MPL ID as a whole. You can’t just rely on one super team that just won’t work (This is coming from an Indonesian). As for Kairi, it may be tough to lose 2 Worlds finals. But from these losses he will be even more motivated to win.

raise your head, no one is to blame, just luck is not on your side, I personally am quite happy that the team from Indonesia was able to enter the grand final even though they ended up as runners up, but the M5 grand final this time was tighter, both teams were equally strong, the difference is just a matter of who can adapt. faster and proven that AP Bren is able to adapt and beat Onic from all sides, even though AP Bren reads 100%, miraculously Onic can still equalize, once again luck is not on your side, hopefully this can be a lesson for Kairi and other Onic players, AP Bren is increasing The standard for an esports team is not that the hero pool has to be wide, but the hero pool has to have hero power all in the hands of the players. I hope the trauma from defeat can turn Onic into a monster next time. I also hope for other MPL ID teams to improve and raise their standards. If they are still Onic's punching bags, then Onic won't be able to develop any further.

The uncrowned King of M World, yeah it’s painful. Considering his skill, but winning a championship is not a one man show. You need good teammates and coach to get that title. If Onic will keep the roster they can get it eventually but it’s PH era. Ph got 4 S tier team to face.

I can say Kairi's prime is M4 but his team was lacking. MSC is ONIC's prime. this M5 Kairi can't do crazy plays because he's using utility junglers. and BREN's game plan is to invade Kairi's jungle, that's why coach Yeb didn't pick an assasin jungler.

Sadly, Kairi will only get M series championship if he rejoin and develop with a full Ph team. He was already on that path when he was in Blacklist and Onic ph. The ml scene in ph is very competitive. When you are constantly exposed to a very high level of game play.. even if you lose.. you develop. Sometimes when you always win in your region, you have a false sense of security and when you are exposed against another team that is stronger than you, players panic and commit errors and ultimately lose the match. All the team from world champions Bren, black, echo and again bren faced years of lose streak.. they always are pressured to prove themselves every single game, no one team in Ph got the monopoly of the series unlike in other regions.

You have a point if he may have a chance to win M-Series if he joins PH teams, but let's not forget that Onic ID are really strong too at this moment. However, in the Grandfinals, AP Bren are the better team. I'm Indo and I'm not blaming Kairi for his blunder move in the last game, as Kairi is still one of the reasons why Onic ID are where they are right now. Based on the level of competition here, rsg ph and echo could even give onic Id a run for their money :) That is why there are max of 2 slots only, to give other regions a chance, but if there is none, then majority of the top 5 teams in M series would be composed of Ph teams… another proof of is the remaining top 4 teams other than black and bren in recent m5: onic, deus vult, sys, geek have either a Ph coach or player or both. :)

Will Onic still dominate next season? Hard to say since their weakness have finally been exposed after their non stop winning since mpl 11, msc, snapdragon, mpl 12 up until m5. Target ban Kairi, constantly target pick off kiboy, and ube style pickoff by blcklist to bypass the onic individual micro prowess. Then the obvious, draft diff. But even still then it's a really close grand finale for Bren to close the game. We will see what happens to them next season
