I am a f2p player, playing since August 2020 (Lou's Season). I have 50 brawlers maxed* out (necessary stuff only). I have 30/37 hypercharges. The rest of my brawlers are at power 9 with at least one star power & a gadget. Most of the brawlers have both gadgets & star power. I'm at 53k trophies. All brawlers are at least 550 trophies. 20 of them are rank 25+. I'm really satisfied with my progression till now as I am not a hardcore player. Can I get a like from Kairos & others??

I don't think it's possible to max out your account as f2p. (if you want to skip the math there is a TL;DR at the end) We get 1 brawler per month which takes about 13k coins to max lvl, then 1k gadget 2k sp 2k gears and 5k hypercharge (eventually all brawlers will get a hypercharge so i am counting this in the cost too). So you need 23k gold a month to keep up with progression. The free brawl pass gets you 8k and the new brawler gets you 3k if it's mythic or legendary and less if epic. So 11k free guaranteed This leaves you with a 12k gold deficit. You get 3 starr drops per day, for a total of 90 a month excluding the star drops at the end of the season, so for a f2p player that also sometimes misses a few daily quests and does not 100% optimize daily XP due to needing to log in multiple times per day let's say you get 10 more from those too So you have roughly 100 starr drops a month. On average, you will get: - 50 rares - 28 super rares - 15 epics - 5 mythics - 2 legendaries Rares drop gold 41.9% of the time, so let's say 21 drops will give you 50 coins each for 1050 coins Super Rares drop gold 42.38% of the time, so about 12 will give you 100 coins each for 1200 coins Epics drop gold 21% of the time, so about 5 epics give you 200 gold each for 1000 coins Mythics drop gold 9.5% of the time, rounding up to 10 gives you half a drop per month at 500 coins each full drop, or 250 coins per month on average Mythics also drop gadgets at 15.8%, it's almost one gadget a month so let's round up to one gadget wroth 1000 coins per month from mythics Legendaries give a star power (2000 coins) 27% of the time Legendaries give hypercharges (5000 coins) 16% of the time This means 43% of the time a legendary will give you coins, if we round this up to 50% then you will get either 2000 or 5000 coins every month, which is on average 3.5k so to recap you need 23k a month. 8k from the free brawl pass 3k from the brawler's mastery 1k from the rare drops 1.2k from the super rares 1k from epics 1.25k from mythics 3.5k from legendaries The total is 19k coins per month from free guaranteed rewards. on average That means a free to play player is 4k gold monthly in deficit. Yes there are other ways of gaining gold such as the trophy road, but let's be honest after 10k you get what? 600 gold per 1000 trophies and a few star drops? Yes there are events, but those are bi-monthly which means each event needs to reward each player 10k gold in order to make up for the deficit and i doubt this holds true for any event we had so far, especially the mega boxes (Kairos got 1.4k gold from the entire event, you need a little less than 6 times that to cover the deficit) If you include the legendaries from ranked, a player that pushes each season to legendary (not masters because not everyone is supposed to get there) will get 2 extra legendaries, this is an extra 3.5k average monthly that not only does not cover the deficit but requires skill and quite a few maxed brawlers so not everyone will get into legendary much less masters Keep in mind this is strictly for 1 star power, 1 gadget, 1 hypercharge, power 11 and 2 gears, and assumes all gadgets and star powers will go to a brawler that you do not have these for, also every time i rounded in this statistic is to the benefit of the player, in reality you get less than these ammounts but it made for an easy calculation. TL;DR If you do all of your main quests and most of your daily quests, play every day for your drops, grind to Legendary each season and you have above average luck you are still not guaranteed to keep up with the new content (new expenses each month)

Kairos, can you ask supercell to change either the revive circle or the circle under the brawler to make it have a slight arrow which always points to the center of the map? It would have been a better idea to leave brawlers at power 7 and get more brawlers to 11 in anticipation for new hypercharges to come out to buy with gems or to use the free hypercharges that you gotten from drops. Instead of stressing out when they come out. Power 9 is useful for quests but you will not use power 9 for ranked. Just my opinion and what I'm doing.

Kairos, can you ask Supercell to see if they can add a “refund” mechanic in the game? For example, if I have a bad skin for a brawler,(red wizard barley :C) I can refund it into the shop and get its worth in bling so I can use bling for other brawlers. This also would work the same for gadgets, star powers, and hypercharges, where if I don’t want it, I can refund it for the same price I paid it for. Or if I open up a LEGENDARY star drop, and get remote recovery, let’s just say I might not play brawl stars for a bit after that. So much hype for pretty much nothing. I’d rather take the coins that the star power is worth and have more control over my account. Also, Supercell needs to make ranked star drops at least 750 bling.
