I have seen this reed But dont know where it is made. As per my knowledge there is no reed making factory in KOLKATA now. This reed is good. Some other brands are also there from Kolkata. Thanks for your comment.

Mere 2 question ka answer dijia. Number one German jubilet reeds vertical me achi rehti ja horizontal me. Number two question horizontal and vertical. exert kehte hai harmonium ko small bane ke liya vertical ka trand chala. Horizontal space jada mangta tha. Aap batya kya sahi hai. Space issuehai ja sound quality

If the manufacturer is good, VERTICAL is sweet. Question of small or big does not arise as it make little difference. From manufacturing angle VERTICAL takes more labour.

Yr video is very informative.some body should open company for manufacturing harmonium like Casio/Roland etc.which can supply standard harmonium. Two yrs back, I purchased 3 line scale changer harmonium from SHRUTI SHADHANA ,CALCUTTA..ON PAYMENT OF RS45000/_.shown something or sent something else. He cheated .that harmonium is lying waist. I repented.

आपने इतना सब कुछ बताया तो आप और एक बात बताओ... जर्मन रीड्स जादा 37 क्यों आता था मोस्टली 44 क्यों नहीं आता था...और अमेरिकन रीड्स भी आता था ना...द्वारकीन का भी रीड्स आता था... M T Mestry का भी रीड्स पॉप्युलर था... D S harmonium मे भी use हुवा है... Jivan Kanji ओल्ड रीड्स भी बहुत अच्छा था...

Mr Rupesh Your comment is SUPER. THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT INDIAN REEDS ONLY. So please dont mix with German /USA etc., 37, 39, 42, 44 all available in GERMAN reeds. People preferred small harmonium earlier hence 37 reeds are more. Please understand economical reasons too. price & quality of 3 octave harmonium and 3 3/4 octave harmonium is not same. See my other videos to know more about AMERICAN REEDS. There are nearly 50 companies in INDIA who manufacture harmonium reeds. Can"t take name of each and every one in a small Video. There are nearly 10 big companies in PALITANA and another few manufacture reeds without any Brand or manufacture of other brands in india.(Hope you understand me...) M.T.Mistry (NOT MESTRY) Jivan Kanji - all are in PALITANA. Palitana is taken in General in this Video. Hope you are clear now.
