I still remember (xyz) telling me hw (refer xyz) too was in luv wth me....n I keep sulking after a decade... these kind of songs mellow u down... or else something violent wud hav happened to that person at that time... Sachin n Kalpana it feels as if they were in real life love such was d acting impact on me psychologically that i didnt react fr my personal quest... cos of seeing d blood bath in d movie.. I thank god n my parents few very close frnds who helped me guided me then, so I behaved maturely or something very dangerous wud hav really happened to that perspn at that time I will never forget this song n that year... the tune it was my caller tune n ringtone as well.

Ghajini's love story really pulls at my heart strings. Because of this, what would otherwise have been an average movie really remains a memory in my heart. And this song is just the perfect embodiment of their tragically beautiful love story. The lyrics are so poetic and perfectly in sync with what Sanjay must be thinking. It also foreshadows the doom about to come with its slightly melancholic tune. The disbelief about getting something that seems to be too good to be true accompanied by the fear of losing it! It is also beautifully picturized in the night. There is a sadness and loneliness one associates with the night that adds to the meaningfulness of this song. Beautifully sung by Benny Dayal and what wonderful lyrics! Aamir Khan at his best making Sanjay come alive through subtle changes in expression. A remarkable song!
