Watched these guys play live in Groningen, The Netherlands last saturday evening. I didn't expect much, cause after the two albums I just simply lost track of them and I've never seen them live before. It exceeded all my expectations by far. Total and utter control on the stage. The lead singer is a born entertainer with a great voice supported by excellent musicians. Every time they played a song of their new album, I was like shit I gotta check this stuff! This song is epic, absolutely love it. If you never seen them live, definitely go check them out, it's one big epic party with awesome music.

When I listened to Future is Medieval, I personally didnt like it and thought that most likely I was not going to like this album either. However, Kaiser Chiefs have showed me that they know how to change their music style and still be awesome.

I'm really glad I went to see these guys at the York Races. We were quite far back but they sounded awesome. Me and my friends would sing along and dance to I Predict A Riot, Good Days Bad Days, Never Miss A Beat, The Angry Mob and Modern Way. Then we went clubbing afterwards and asked the DJ in one of the clubs to play Riot. We tore up the fucking dance floor. It was a pretty good night.

I am not a KC fan. In fact I am 45 and stuck in my ways:) this reminds me of some very early Simple Minds and U2. The influence is there for all to hear it bites you on the arse it is so obvious. You have to listen to early SM and U2 circa 80's. All in all very impressed with this I wish all 'new music' was like this, passionate, emotive and played with real passion. Just my opinion. Dave

i'm 34 from Italy and i'm KC fan since 2005, i think you're right for U2 and Simple Minds but,for me, KC music was influenced by some rock English artists,i mean Bowie ,Clash, Beatles and Stranglers.

Not going to lie, I was really disappointed when I first heard this song/watched the video, because the melody and the music sounds sooo much like other songs/bands that have been coming out recently. There's a unique oddness to Ricky's voice that I love so much and I feel like I can't even hear that aspect here. Lyrics are great as usual though, and I like Misery Company, so I'm hoping the album's more like that than this. All the same, I'm excited; 4 more days! :)
