Kai turned three years old on October 2nd, 2012. He is the best cat I could ever ask for; I love him beyond description. I have compiled my favourite photos and videos of Kai during his first year growing up, including pictures of him with his much-loved frog toy, sunbathing on the kitchen floor, laying on the register, and others.
Kaiser is oozing with personality, and I can't imagine my life without him. I cherish every moment I have with my boy. Happy birthday, Kai. :)

(continued)... There are three main colour variations: Gold/BST (brown spotted tabby), Silver, and Snow. Within these three colours, the cat will possess one of the three following markings: Spotted, Rosetted, or Marbled. Kaiser is an arrowhead rosetted brown spotted tabby Bengal.

Viggo was my beloved ferret who passed away last weekend after battling lymphoma. He is in a few of our videos, such as "Nana's Birthday Party" and "Spring Activities".

Bengal kittens are typically priced between $600 and $3,000 depending on the markings and physical features. "Tabby" is a term used describing the markings of a Bengal and is unrelated to the non-pedigree cats featuring the agouti colour pattern. Foundation Bengals (F1, F2, & F3) are hybrids, whilst the F4, or SBT, is the first true Bengal cat. Bengals will always retain ALC bloodlines regarless of how many generations they have been bred from the wild.

I visited the website; they are gorgeous kittens. :) Indeed, they are Bengals, many of them appear to be rosetted brown spotted tabbies. The kitten 2nd from the bottom reminds me the most of Kai. :) "Domestic" simply refers to the temperament of the cat and how many generations it is from the wild. Bengals are a domestic breed, even though they still retain many characteristics of the ALC such as their love of heights and water, and most notably, their leopard-like coat. I hope this helped. :)

SBT Bengals are considered the "first true Bengals", since two SBT's can be bred together and produce Bengal kittens without needing to reintroduce wild blood. F1, F2, and F3 Bengals are often refered to as foundation Bengals or EG (early generation) Bengals and are, in some locations, banned or require a permit due to their wilder dispositions. Almost all Bengal kittens sold by breeders, therefore, are SBT's.

Kaiser is fascinated with water and will leap into a bathtub without hesitation. There are some Bengals though, that may be interested in water at a distance but share no desire to get wet themselves. Yes, Bengal kittens' spots and rosettes will develop with age. It can be difficult to determine how they will look when mature, which is why it is important to pick your kitten according to his personality rather than his appearance. The filial generation number (abbreviated to the letter F followed by a number) signifies how many generations the cat has been bred from the wild Asian Leopard Cat (ALC). SBT (stud book tradition) Bengals are those who have been bred at least four generations from the ALC (F-4's), and are thus considered "domestic". The term SBT must not be confused with BST, which is the colour variation Brown Spotted Tabby. Kaiser is an F-7 Bengal, meaning he is seven generations from the ALC.

Thank you so much for all your information! I cannot wait to get my Bengal kitty : ) The litter was born on Valentines Day so we are going to pick it out in a few weeks, and then will get it once they are old enough to leave. I hope I can train my kitty like you have done so with Kaiser. It is very impressive! Do you have tutorials? Is he also toilet trained? I was thinking of possibly doing that, since I hear bengals are so smart and easily trainable! Where can I buy a clicker? Thanks again!

Does your Kaiser like to swim? I heard about how they like water and I think that is really cool. I also have heard that they are easy to toilet train and thought that as pretty cool too. I love all the tricks you do with Kaiser and I hope I can do that with mine eventually : ) Do you give any tutorials on how you do? Also, since the ones on the site I showed you are SBT, will their color and spots be more defined once they get older? Kind of like how Kaiser is? He is a beautiful cat!
