Some errors: Galway carried with him 700 Dutch as reinforcements upon his arrival. Not 1700. Don't know why Minas is mentioned in the second siege of Badajoz.

It makes me wonder what they mean by that. I mean a musket isn’t much different than a shot gun. I take it it must be a short barreled larger caliber musket primarily using shot instead of ball.

The next episode is going to be split into two parts. Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Had a lot going on. The next video is in the editing stage. I will be working on it more actively starting Monday.

Hey Marshal, It's Henry. Excellent video, no one really cares about the war of Spanish Succession, even though if France achieved a deceisive victory, the continent would be under French dominance.

I have to use a large screen to see the names of the commanders on the maps. Nice work. Thank you very much especially because I never learned much about the war in Spain.

Older video issues, I hope newer ones to not be that bad, but it's hard for even larger youtubers to get that part perfected.

Just saying but I would love to see a video on the raiding that took place in the Caribbean see during the war of the Spanish succession because it’s from the raiding in the Caribbean that famous pirates like steede bonnet, Blackbeard, Anne Bonny and calico Jack gain their fame and i would also love to see a video on the American theater of the war of the Spanish succession aka queen Anne’s war and I am interested in that war because you see when the treaty of Utrecht was signed the concerns of the Indian tribes were not included and it set the stage for future conflicts including the famous French and Indian war

I found this report interesting and I do find it jaring at times. James FitzJames Duke of Berwick was the bastard son of King James II of England and VII of Scotland with Arabella Churchill (sister of the very famous John Chuchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough). His service with British forces was brief, lasting no more than 18 month as his farther was deposed and he went onto exile, He was a catholic and would not serve under a protistant King & Queen. In English, English the name "Berwick" should be pronounced "Ber" and in "Ber-ry" and "wick" as in a candle. Meaning "The bay (or cove) of Ber. I think you should have also talked more about the Earl of Galway, as this would have presented a counterbalance to the Duke of Berwick. The Earl of Galways was Henri de Massue, a French Huguenot, who entered British service because of French repression of the Huguenots.
