The French Commanders are probably not punished for defeats only because the French government has become too disunited when the thing was to make them more united. After the war with Germany began, a common government was created. So the Ukrainian anarchist Makhno is protected by French anarchists, Zhukov Chuikov and Stalin are protected by totalists, and the Pole Rokosovsky is protected by moderate syndicalists and the radical left. There were French generals too, but actually France placed too much hope in the Russian generals who fought against the Germans first in World War I and then in proxy wars around the world in the 1930s. Outside the USA, they practically did not win anywhere, but the victory in the USA gave too much confidence to the syndicalists. I know, I blame France's incompetence on the Russians, but all these French generals did was mass indoctrinate the French army, which still failed due to Catholic resistance. So France neither modernized nor created a completely obedient to death army. army. And since they are not the Soviet Union, they do not have much territory anymore. So both the Russians in France and the French believed that the only fault why the Entente lost the war with Germany was the lack of willingness to fight and the lack of absolute obedience despite the threat of death. The defeats of France seriously resemble the defeats of the USSR, where hundreds of thousands of people were pointlessly wasted in battles that could not be won. So the French and the British at the end will probably have to run by the Atlantic to the America😂. practically the same like the British loyalists had to flee to Canada after the revolution. So it would be a twisted fate that both the British loyalists and the British syndycalists will have to escape to the north america.

Perhaps send a battleship to norway for coastal bombardment as well. Paired with railway bombardment and a few planes, narvik will most certainly fall.

There should be two Weltkrieg-era battleships in the invasion support group, for coastal bombardment. Narvik could probably be taken by land at this point, but it's a good test for the newly-formed Marine divisions, to see how effective they are in seaborne landings.

With the fall of Verdun, French morale plummets with the news that the germans have not only pushed to paris, but completely encircled the entire northern French and British front line twice, a sense of dread would be filling the french armed forces, not to mention the loss of the republican navy would have for the British. We are actively looking at the start of the western collapse

Absolutely. They have not modernised, but relied on the same infantry tactics used in the Weltkrieg. With the destruction of the combined Syndicalist airforce and fleet, they would have to come up with innovative defensive ideas to counter von Kluge's tanks on the ground, yet they rely on their fortifications. The unfortunate downside is that France won't defeat the Entente in Iberia, so it'll be come a "race to the Pyrenees" to see who controls France afterwards.

Mr.Terry, you may as well sending the Bulgarian troops to naval invade India (if Siam was capitulated, so the troops in Siamese front can send in). Otherwise, you may use these troops to start an offensive in the Caucasus front, to save the encircled Georgians. For western front, i suggest you to focus on pushing to Brittany and Bordeaux instead of Rhone Mountains since that's the Communard weakest front. Since the Ogaden War remained stalement throughout the 2WK. Helping Ethiopian will not be the highest priority. If Mr. Terry has other thoughts, you may suggest as well.

Fighting in India is eventually going to happen, but it's a huge country, and we'll need more than just General Paulus' rag-tag band of jungle fighters. I could imagine a marine landing from Ceylon, but we haven't secured the seaways yet, and the IJN is still out there. In France, with the loss of about half a million troops, I think they're on the defence permanently, and since they can no longer challenge the Luftwaffe, it's just going to be a controlled push from here on out. I do need the airforce on the eastern front before too long.

RP reason is for his great service and contribute to all the volunteer wars he has been sent to (AND WON). Now that you need a new Field Marshal. Under his command, I also suggest Von Bock, and Von Bock should be using ALL foreign troops; Lithuanians, Bulgarians, Dutch, Afrikan soldiers und so weiter. A true Fremdenlegion. Pure gaming reason: In order to streamline all the foreign soldiers of unknown quality and get yourself a new marshal and you wont be using the cavalry anymore sence they are truly outdated and just taking up divisionspace sitting in Sundsvall (northern sweden) 2. The newly created Fremdenlegion could be used as a guard for your pacific islands AND Hawaii. Dont forget that you are at war with Amerika. Maybe even used as guards for Cuba and could there also be used for the Caribbian Campaign. 1 of 2.

2 of 2. 3. Your army is very, very cloggy, built of generals with divison that are either half strenght or even less. Consolidate and open up some slots for new armys. 4. Suggestion is to expand your rifle industry, you are laggin ALOT. Continue with with the destroyer program, but even more effort on building convoys. Your trade,soldier transport and all in all economy needs them. 5. (LAST ONE!) Dont declare war on somalia. Send Ethiopia weapons and old equipment, airplanes, old tanks, old artillery and so forth. The AI will use everything you give. Good RP reason is to not start a new war on the ONE AND ONLY continent you dont fight on. Thanks for reading, you are doing a great work. @@Jaabra Well... The black african german army soldiers are techically...Still a German army soldiers even if they are black. Although i guess you meant the South africa soldiers. I mean that it would be strange to send the same soldiers from mittelafrica to the foreing countries army groop.

@Governor-n1x Well you are correct in your assumption about the Afrikan soldiers. I meant The colony troops that was given. Yes they are Germans. But due to the fact that the templets cant be changed and is a B*tch to look up their templates its just easier to put them in a B-tier army.

Thanks! I've earmarked Rupprecht of Bavaria as the next field marshal, since he was one of the most competent generals in the Weltkrieg. Von Mackensen (the younger) will get his day to shine, his cavalry units will be turned into motorised cavalry, once enough equipment is available. I may have misunderstood, but my divisions are generally at full strength equipment-wise. I could consolidate some to create "full" armies (i.e. 24 or 30 divisions), but I prefer having more specialised forces, allows for better general assignment. We're going to be at war all over the world soon anyway - Africa is almost pacified, and I can probably shoehorn Mittelafrika into a war to get Ethiopia to victory (we had previous investments there, so business interests) and into the Reichspakt.

It was not about the equipment, it was the amount of divisions for each general. While I do agree with the use of generals with smaller specialised forces, you are making it harder for yourself. (or at least it looks like you are forgetting where you place troops sometimes ^^)

I don't know about anyone else, but I sense a betrayal from the Donau-Adriabund. Them cancelling all material support and stacking units as well as panzer divisions on your border tells me this. It might be a good idea to get ready for the next front of the war with mountaineer and infantry divisions at least. Maybe a military factory allocation from the ship production would suffice for this, as the British navy is almost in shambles. Port strikes with the airforce on the British mainland is what I think would make them repairing the navy harder thus giving you more time. Or would you rather use the Polish for this if war happens to break out?

Well... I'm not so sure about that. Austrians and Italians are still fighting as volunteers in Germany. I also doubt that Austria is so sure that it will be able to fight the German power. But despite everything, Austria would prefer the war to end with the status quo. But despite everything, Austria prefers to remain neutral because they distrust the international community and Russia more than the Germans. Who said that Russia would want to cooperate with Austria after defeating Germany? No one said... and then the invasion of Russia and the international would be unstoppable for them. Austria is therefore similar to Great Britain in its relations with the USA during World War I. They did not trust others because they had outstripped them economically, but they were dependent on them. Austria would like a new Congress of Vienna like after Napoleon, but Austria cannot offend all its enemies and former friends.

I mean as I was seeing, in the last 3-4 episodes Austria strengthened its border with Germany significantly and after cancelling material support its only a matter of time they recall the volunteers. Maybe they want to exploit the weakening of Germany after defeating France, since after that they must be focusing on Britain and Russia. I mean, much German influence in Europe means no more territorial gains for the Donau Adriabund. Well, the Indian commune is more of a problem tho than Austria in terms of trade. They were relatively quite.

@Governor-n1x I agree! Thank you for the insight! Well, maybe Germany doesn't overextend if it comes to Sea lion and the eastern front, but that doesn't seem to be the case. USA is rather weak or uninfluential in the European region so they are not a problem for now. Manpower is also not a problem for Germany at the moment, so let's hope everything goes right for Terry!

Austria has indeed been acting suspiciously ever since, but I think you're right in the assumption that they were hoping for Germany, France and Russia to destroy each other, so they could sweep in. I doubt that they'd launch an attack on Germany, but the troop concentrations on the borders are a worry regardless. A new infantry army is in training at the moment, and they will be positioned to reinforce the borders.

It will most certainly... Especially as the British fleet greatest navy ships are already destroyed. Canada is in no position to retake britain especially as it's very likely that the CSA will invade them someday. So Germany will be more than happy to show to the world that the entente was just a a cripple without legs who tried to fight even though the only option to return to Europe would be to completely obey the Germans who deserved power over Europe and the world. So we will probably let the CSA to eat Canada. and the sand France from the algiera will be doomed to collapse in any way.

Unternehmen "Seelöwe" is going to happen after the fall of France. The marines have to prove themselves in Narvik first, and improvements to their capabilities (plus additional marine divisions) are underway.

This would have broken a while ago if I was using Steam workshop. I always pin the base game and install mods manually when doing a campaign, everything else just means broken saves. Learned that lesson the hard way with Ultimate Admiral a while back :) I'll be updating everything (DLCs, base version, mod versions) to latest for the next campaign series, and then pin again
